As used to be advertised, ‘live better through chemistry’.

My dad had a 1972, 1210, which was a 3/4 ton with a large 392 V8 and a granny gear 4 speed. My 1966 IHC 1100A "half tonne" pickup (5,800 lb gross vehicle weight, with 3,250 pounds across the scales, no load, with a full tank of fuel = 2,550 pound load capacity ... with the OEM 15" Good Year bias ply 4 ply passenger car tyres, Not bad for a "half ton" pickup.
. I don't recall how much the "D" ranked 8 ply 16" Michelin radials I put on raised the max. load capacity.
14 lead springs each side in back (including the 9 factory overload springs ; only just 9 each side in front.) and 1969 Ford F100 pickup (worthless/useless 550 pound load capacity. A single HALF cord of seasoned firewood overloaded it.)
were both "Turquoise"/"Aqua Marine"
I wish I still had that 1100A ...
No argument from me.Best truck ever.
I had a feeling that little Mora could fell a tree. Beavers can, so why couldn't that Mora?
