Favorite 300.

I love Bucks 300 series, really some great knives for some hard use, but like everything there is usually a favorite. My question is, what is your favorite 300 model? If you guys could share a story or post a pic that would be awesome.

My favorite is this 301, it was previously owned by a very good friend of mine who used it for a few years before someone asked to borrow it and broke the main blade. He sent it to Buck and they replaced all the blades, while it was away he started carrying a different knife, so when the Buck returned home he just put it away. Awhile back I traded for it, (we basically gifted each other knives we no longer wanted) anyhow, the scales are worn from his pocket, but the blades are worn from my use. It kind of gives the knife a little soul, adding to the story it will be able to tell when it's retired years from now.

300, great picture!!

MB, I wanted my first Buck slipjoint to be the 303, my Dad carried one and so did two of my uncles, I figured if it was good enough for their pockets it was good enough for mine. Well I tried to trade for one, but the trade didn't go through, so I got offered the 301, I really had the Buck fever so I took it. It's a great knife for my uses, and I really enjoy having it in my pocket. I do plan on getting a 303 just for traditions sake.

That was my weak attempt at satire humor from the now long past. The forum had had a long spell of big knife talk, I think the 120 was getting a bunch of attention. I had a WELL used, actually shortened, 124 whose scales even were so loose they rattle and a junker 301. I should have gotten a overseas pirate Buck knockoff and made the same pic....which would have warmed more hearts.....

I actually had planned to send the 124 in to have it spa treated. It would make a decent user. The 301 is still lightly glued to the scale rivet.

My favorite is this 301 gifted to me by a good friend,there's many like it but this one is special.

Mines probably a toss up between the 303 and the 301 but the new 302 is pretty "different" which is what I like about it.
 
I like the 301 but I EDC a 305V... But I do like all the 300s... ITE

My favorite of the 300 series is the 307 and 317 Trailblazer. Either one I could get along with. DM

My favorite slippie is the 301, but I usually carried a 303. Sorry no pics.... :(

My 301 is on the bottom of Lake Winnebago (a bowfishing mishap) :D and my 303 that I loved my son loved more, so he is the proud owner now. (which makes me happier ;)) one of these days I will get around to replacing them both.
