Favorite 9+" Kin chopper

Combo is pretty sweet. Man. Too bad the Skinner won't be to me before muzzleloader opener. Oh well.
 
My experience with Busse and Kin is pretty limited, but in order from like to love..
FFBM, Scrapyard Dogfather (Pretty close to ASHBM for chopping capability, but very comfy), ASHBM. I was suprised with the FFBM as I thought that beast would chop better than it did.
Definitely heads and shoulders above everything else, however, is the NMFBM !
Tatami this!! A slice through a solid maple log in a single cut!!!

I agree Firecog! :thumbup: The NMFBM is my favorite chopper. It's a beast! I haven't tried the MOAB yet though ;)
 
I said on the ASHBM post, that while the ASHBM was a very, very, good chopper, the NMFBM was Better for the SOLE Purpose of Chopping, and everyone went Ballistic with analysis and BS, The NMFBM is a Beast, The Bottom line is the NMFBM will bite a bit deeper than ASHBM-Doesn't mean it is a better Knife. The ASHBM will accomplish any task anyone will ever need. I have not had the pleasure of Chopping or Handling a MOAB, My guess is it is probably the Best, I cannot however justify its price, I would love to have one, but since cutting down Redwood's in California is illegal, I will just have to wait

Not as big as some but with the recurve it really has a wicked blade heavy feel. It feels like a really fast Khukuri on acid.

Yeah, whatever cut it, it wasn't one clean stroke. You can see multiple marks on the cut surface.

That curved/multiple cut is actually just what a cut looks like when Chuck Norris swings the blade. Once. The blade is vigorously shaking in fear of Chuck Norris, which makes the cut look like multiple strokes where done instead of just one clean swipe.

Seriousface though, it seems highly unlikely a maple (which is a hardwood, right?) log was severed in one swing. Unless it was Chuck Norris.

The log was about a 6-7 inch diameter.
It was cut with the mistress in one 'stroke', but for truth in advertising maybe.... I should have included the baton in the pic as well ;)
