I think I might hold the record for largest log chopped through.This one was about 12 - 14 inches in diameter.

I was close to going for a B11, but then a 1311 fell in my lap and so happy it did. Just got it a few days ago. I haven't done a ton with it yet, but hot damn, you can really wail with this thing!!

Of course I did! Those aren't chainsaw marks on the timber and that isn't bar oil on the stump either. And that's not sawdust.

I cut a fridge up once. Didn't take any pictures though. Didn't have a camera! The biggest log I've ever cut with the Basic 9 was probably 8-9" or so...
- I batonned the hell out of this huge cabbage!
But seriously, I made it a point to cook an entire meal using the 9 as my only knife. It did surprisingly well.

No way man - that log is truly impressive! And you chopped it with one of your original SHBMs. Too cool
Lots of people say big blades are not efficient at chopping compared to hatchets. well......
But as for the biggest, I am sure someone has chopped bigger log though, after all, these days the SHBM is not all that big anymore.

My bet is that if anyone beats your record, it will be with a larger blade than your SHBM... But I will offer a free sheath to anyone (first one) who beats your record with a smaller blade!! So lets see an ASH1 chop a 15" plus log
