It looks like you are the first!! Congrats!! email me at azwelke at aol.com and I will get you taken care of ;)

Will do, thanks!!

Corections:

Time: about 2 hrs 15 min

"Just as impressive with the SR101. A few passes on the flex-cut charged strop and back to shaving hair!"

The belly wasn't getting that sharp and I found some very small chips in that area. Still a pretty great performance.

Wow 2 hrs. That was a lot of work. You deserve the prize.

Really enjoying my 1311:

Spent a couple hours helping to clear vines on our family property today.

The 1311 has lots of leverage. I wonder how many pieces of 1 inch rope it could cut in one swing.

I've never done the rope test, would be fun to try.

Also, as a note on the pic above, my ~$20 14" Tramontina can make cuts like that easily on the same woodly vines, but has 60% thinner stock with a thinned and convexed edge bevel, it's pretty awesome for the money :)

The 1311 handles very well for it's size and I was happy with how well the factory set up performed (also did some heavier work today, chop/split/baton). The Res-C handles are a revelation so far in use.

Still super stoked to suddenly have these things :D

Well, it was two sessions. I had originally figured a little over an hour, so I had to come back. Got a corneal abrasion in the deal too. Good fun!

I did gain a new appreciation for blades in the 6" range. They've always been a 'not quite right' blade for me, but now I see more possibilities.

Good thing, I have a Trash 1 on order (still waiting on a Ganzaa fat ash too) and I think that will be an even better performer with a more forward balance from the Res C. I'm having Al make the sheath for that one as I'm not sure if I'll be holding on to the Rodent 6.
