Favorite all around Scotch

Great taste in cigars.... I don't do Scotch.... I got that Asian glow.... stupid Mongolians...

Hibiki is a pretty amazing Japanese hooch, closest thing to a Scotch that I've tried.

Laphroaig Quarter Cask is my favorite Scotch by far.

I love the Talisker too... been around the distillery once or thrice, after running (I wish, more like crawling) up and down the Cuillins.

My younger days were spent mostly drinking 18yo Macallan.

At the moment, if I were to pick one, it would probably be the 18yo Glenmorangie. While I pick up the occasional 'other', that's my usual go-to favourite.

Ooh yeah... that's a good one too! I got a half-case of that (on a cheap offer) a couple of years back, thinking I would stretch it out a couple of years, along with my others. They were gone in under a year!

I've yrt to find anything I like better than Lagavulin 16YO.

But that Nectar D'Or is nice when I'm not in the mood for dirt and smoke.

Lagavulin and Caol Ila are another two faves of mine. I just can't commit to the Islay Scotches as dailies though.

Laphroaig 10y/ Cask Strength & Cohiba Siglo VI... though I object to nothing I've seen thus far :D

This is what's in my glass as we speak.

I liked this one very well.

This was really good, too.

But this had better be amazing, for whomever can afford it. And yes, that is the correct price.

Since I drink scotch so infrequently, I stick with what I like.

I guess I'm a loner with Glenfiddich. But it is my favorite. I've gone 12 to 21 and everything in between, and have yet to find one I didn't like.

Also like Glenmorangie and Glenlivet. Want to try Lavagulin. And now Talisker.

I like Glenfiddich, Glenlivet, and Macallan. While I haven't had many from each, everything from each of them I have tried, I liked.

As for cigars, I love Padrons... Anybody remember those Criollos they released a while back? Absolutely yummy. One of my favorite cigars ever. Can't find em anymore at all, at least in my neck of the woods.

I love his knives, and those scales are incredible.

I'm a big fan of his slipjoints as well, his flipper too. :)
Fantastic work from a great guy. He's a HOG, you know that, yes? First knife I ever bought from Jared is this fantastic SFNO. :)

I did not know he was a HOG. I used to see his work in the Traditional forum. Started looking to catch one of his for sale, but was always too slow, or too broke. One of these days...

I've had some 50 year old Laphroaig or Lagavulin once. Sad to say I can't recall which it was, but I do remember the taste. Either of those two, older the better. Just can't afford em right now, so I'm stuck drinking Irish😎Oh well, carry on. Oh the bar that had it was called Whiskey Thieves, in San Francisco. If their still around check em out. Got real moonshine there too-smmoooth. Just went down like nothing, then slowly blossomed into a warm glow. God I could cry🙄😂
