Favorite blade shape

I really don't have a favorite blade shape or profile.
No one blade shape/profile is "ideal" for every cutting task, so I carry a variety.
My most carried knives are a Stockman pattern; (Clip, Sheepsfoot, and Spey/Budding blades.) and a Scout or SAK. (Spear Point main blade)
If I know I'll be working with a lot of rope, I'll add a Marlin Spike (large Sheepsfoot and a spike for untying knots or splicing triple strand) or a "Half Hawk" (large Sheepsfoot and a Pen blade.)
I also have knives with a drop point, hawkbill, and other profiles when needed.

I like wide blades a lot.

Love me a good Clip and Drop. However, I think the lesser known shapes such as Reverse Tanto and Lambsfoot do not get enough love. Also have to mention that Leaf blades have a special place in my heart.

I think clip point is my favorite. Not neccessary like a bowie where is has a curve. I think i prefer a straight clip. That being said my answer would likely change tomorrow. Certain knives suit certain blade shapes.
Are you talking about something shaped like the Cold Steel Trail Master?

Like others, my favorite shape depends on the current use for the knife. That said, my favorite all around folding EDC knife blade shape is leaf shaped blades, mostly found in Spyderco knives. The leaf shaped blade is the best compromise among all the shapes. Enough width to spread peanut butter or mayo, enough point for delicate tasks, etc. It's the reason that the chaparral is in my pocket more often than anything else.

Depends on the knife and what I’m using it for...so obviously favourite is based on aesthetics.

In that case I love the look of Japanese style blades in the shape of katana, wakizashi or tanto. I even like American Tantos.

sheepsfoot then drop point are my two favorites. My edc is a cheapy sheepsfoot folder my son got me as a gift. Turns out I really like it and have added some nice blades for carry but still carry the cheapy as it was a gift.

I love the look of a clip point, but for every day use a straight edge, Sheeps , Lambs foot or Wharnie are my favorite. and what I carry every day.
