Favorite Carry knife?

The ones that always seem to find their way into one of my pockets on a daily basis are:
- BM Mini-AFCK in M2 HSS
- CRK Umfaan
- SAK Classic

When I'm wandering in the great outdoors I always have a small fixed blade on my belt... either one of these:
- Dozier Yukon Pro Skinner
- Simonich Talonite Cetan

My fav knife would be the new SOG® Night Vision, or my trusty old COLD STEEL® Vanquero Grande.
both are solid folders...the only things i prefer the Vision to the Van..Grande is that firstly, the Vision is smaller and people tend to not have as strong a reaction to me carrying one as they do when i am carrying the vanquero..
secondly, i like the fact that the Vision appears to have an adjustable pivot tension..
and also that the Night Vision comes in a G-10 handle...not only is it more durable, but it also is a tad more stylish looking on a knife as zytel handles tend to give knives a kinda "cheapo" look(personal opinion)

Ladybug and Spydercard are a must daily.

Poniard.

My favorite is my new 3-inch Impulse from EdgeTech/Outdoor Edge with the bead blasted, plain-edged blade. Small enough for pocket carry, and rugged enough to use on anything I've tried so far.

gotta go with my large Sebenza... a good looking worker that I'm not worried about hurting.

While I like the Spyderco Native the best, I carry the Delica the most because of silly blade length laws.

Paul...
i agree with you....those darn laws that prohibit us from carrying knives around SUCK!!....at least you can carry a delica around...in Singapore, you can't even carry a knife around...now ain't that worse??

I'd have to go with the Emerson SOCFK in Green-T. Second choice is an Emerson Commander in right front pocket. I alternate between the two. Back up knife is a Spyderco Native plain edge set up for left hand duty carried in the SOB position - accessible by both hands. Front left pocket carries an Old Timer Stockman.

In my work denims(not Levis) on the hanger, is the serrated Calypso Jr Ltwt, butt that is because the Military needs sharpening. In my 'dress-up' Wranglers resides my micarta plainedged Calypso Jr or Blue Native. Butt this new VG10 Spydie Viele may soon retire them. Its slender, supple and sleek.

Hi...

Ohh Boy...
This may be a tough one....

Ok if I'm dressing up,, then probably my Diotte Pirhanna Rose Damascus with Blue G-10. to go with that would be my blue Spydie Native...

Dark pants - A silver clip like maybe my Spydie Endura or maybe a 730 Axis

Light Pants - A Dark clip Maybe a BM 875 or CQC-7

Geez,, this is getting confusing...
Don't even want to get into whats under the clothing.. LOL

Daily carry is a SAK Tinker and often a Delica but the MT LCC or the BM 750 Pinnacle I just received are now in my pocket in "test mode".

Best to all,

At work in the hospital I carry a Victorinox Recruit, everywhere else I carry my Vic Electrician SAK (but I still carry my Camillus LeverLok sometimes too).

David Broadwell's LDC-107 from Les Robertson's LDC series is one great folder. My fav, hands down. I'm not even sure what is second.

The handle shape is terrifically ergonomic and functional, smooth, and it sits very comfortably in front jeans pocket when you sit. Domed/radiused micarta looks nice.

Blade is ATS-34 which is fine for daily incidental chores. Blade grind is very attractive... cross between drop and clip. Dave acid etched is last name onto blade in cursive... great. He radiused the top of the blade. Just first class work. Single thumb peg is nicest I have on any folder.

2nd place finisher (among probably 30 folders) is a distant 2nd.

Joel Chamblin and John W Smith do super work too.

I like Darrel Ralph's EDC handle and blade grind overall, along with the integral lock, but don't own one yet. Trying to decide how to dress it up without looking so damned pimpy. I like Darrel's attitude about using 420V with the best heat treat he can muster.

I would have to say that my favorite carrying knife is my Official Boy Scout utility style pocketknife. I carry it only in Scout uniform, but it is probably the most all around useful knife I carry.

GUESS I'M OLD FASHIONED..EVERYDAY USE..MY BUCK 110 AUTO ON BELT.IF IT HAS TO BE IN THE
POCKET..MY KERSHAW BLACK OUT MOD.1550 SPRING ASSISTED.
