What is your favorite Case Knife Pattern? I really like the humpback stockman. How about you?

Right now, it's the Case 6332. The 3 5/8" sizes is perfect for me - not too small, not too big. The pen blade is far more useful than a spay blade for a city boy like me. Plus the blades have half-stops, something very rare on a production stockman. In 1978 they stopped making this knife and replaced it with the 63032, which is similar, but IMO inferior. Half-stops or no, the design of the 63032 has a flaw, where the positioning of the nail nick on the sheepsfoot blade is in the opening path of the pen blade. So if the blades are too close together they just won't rub, the pen blade will get jammed up on and gouge the sheepsfoot. The 6332 doesn't have this issue.

out of the few i've owned the large stockman is my favorite. the swayback jack would be my favorite, if only it was a little bigger.

Nice Humpback, col902! I remember discussing the pattern with you a few months ago. Glad to see that you are still liking it.

Since I can't decide which one I like best, I will have to say that I have two favorite Case patterns.

The 055 Cigar Jack has been my favorite since the first time I saw one. I especially like the Slick Black 22055. (sorry for the lousy pic)

My other favorite is also the Humpback Stockman. I'm really glad that Case brought this pattern back. Been carrying this one since Christmas day. (top knife in pic)

Case Swayback Jack without question. And that is in comparison to even the Case/Bose collabs I have.

Probably the Tony Bose Backpocket although the Texas jack and swayback jack are tied for a close second followed by the peanut.

6332 is a perfect sized pocket knife in the stockman pattern for my hand.
I checked mine, (1978) , it did not have the half stops so it appears this step was in process of elimination, or I got one finished by a slacker.
I didn't know this number was discontinued in 1978, thanks Planterz for that fact
I have the 2 blade, jack knife version, 6232 (1973) that has the half stops , also a favorite, along with it's little brother, the 6244 two blade jack pattern.
Heck, I like most of them.

My favorite pattern (generally) is the large stockman. So, that would be the '75 pattern Case. I also like large Folding Hunters (such as the Case '65 pattern). They're quite large for EDC, especially in this day & age, but I've always liked the looks & heft of that pattern.

I personally was always a fan of the trapper model. I like its size and the two blades it has always seem to be useful to me.

I really think Texas Jacks are cool, though I don't own one at the moment. The one I find most pocketable and useful is the popular Swayback Jack.
