Favorite Case Pattern?

Of the few I've personally handled and used, the Swayback Jack is my favorite. I got rid of every other knife, the Swayback Jack is the one I chose as my EDC for a few years.

That being said, I never got to handle a Canoe or the Humpback Whittler, so until I handle those I can't be too sure.

Some lovely knives you show

Most of the small collection of Case I have are users
The knives represent where Case is for their general production at this place in time.

I was gifted here an old Case jack 3 5/8" on a serpintine frame in red bone,

but it is a different time and here are what Case do now
And I enjoy carrying and using them

Here are two of my favorites

A Chestnut bone 3 5/8" stockman in CV
63032 CV
It is a working stockman, made to be worked
The pen is more useful to me than a spey

And the pen knife in yella and CV
It is so slim on a single spring and the blades are so sharp.............
Needs to be treated more gently than the stockman
But the blades are wide and easy to use

I also like their Seahorses
I have one with white bone and some shallow 'stag' jigging
A lovely knife

Hard for me to narrow it down to one pattern, especially since I have recently gotten back into traditionals, and am still learning the different patterns. But, of the Case knives I do own, it's a toss up between the SBJ and a Back Pocket. I really like the Trappers though. And the Stockmen. And the Seahorse Whittler...see what I mean? :D

That's a hard question. Either the Mako, Copperlock, Texas Toothpick, Sodbuster, Slimline Trapper, and of course the Trapper. But if i had to pick one it would have to be the RussLock. So elegant.

I haven't tried enough of them yet to have an informed opinion. I do really like the 62032 medium jack / small Texas jack pattern at the moment, but as I accumulate more styles I may come up with a different answer.

For me are the 3 3/8 - 3 5/8 jack patterns.
I never handled the 32 but I'm sure it'll become a favorite.
This two(on the right) are:

By the way they're 6235 1/2 and 6207

Currently, smallish Texas Jack, got it in my pocket right now :)

Texas Jack - this one is red bone and CV steel.
I have an older one in green bone and SS, but I love the size and blade combination.

There are quite a few but the one I like most is undoubtedly their Barehead Slimline Trapper, wonderful knives!

I can't decide between these three, but I'd probably rank them in this order.

Received my new Russlock today after quite a bit of mulling. Looks like it is going to make a nice EDC for my purposes. My concerns about ease of use were allayed once I got it in hand. Takes a little getting use to, but is by no means hard or unsafe to operate....

CASE SWAYBACK JACK is the only way to go (my fav's in these are the Pearl Scales "6" of them and looking for more.!! )
