My cheapest is an Opinel, but I wouldn't call it junk.
The BladeForums.com 2024 Traditional Knife is available! Price is $250 ea (shipped within CONUS).
Order here: https://www.bladeforums.com/help/2024-traditional/
Not going to lie, I kind of dig that design. Like Ray Laconico and Strider had a baby (a lofty description of a $20 knife, I know).
What model number is this?
That looks to be it, thanks.
I always liked the Scorpious. Too bad I never picked one up when they were still around. I am curious to see what it would look like sheep footed.
Cover your eyes.....
It's not a complete sheepsfoot but i can't think of any other shape that resembles it.
Check out that rad jimping. It's not a pretty knife by any means but it's crazy sharp and my oldest spyderco.
Kershaw Crown, best 10 bucks I ever spent.
$1 'Ozark Trail' lockback from Walmart.
Junk - There is some blade play when locked, the steel wont take a truely sharp edge, the pocket clip is poorly designed, and the handle is made of super cheap plastic ... but yet it cuts things well enough for 95% of people out there.
Well, it isn't junk, but it did cost me only 7,50 euros. I've got this EKA Swede 60 for years now and it is a favourite. Very easy to sharpen and easy to clean, since you can disassemble the knife with just a simple screw driver or the SAK in your pocket.

I'll cheat and list two beaters that I like a lot:
* A Moral carbon steel knife. I think it was the "840MG" model on Amazon. Paid about $12 for it, came razor sharp and works great for fine slicing, trimming, and carving tasks. And tougher than you'd think, for something so thin.
* A Gerber LMF. I know these are getting a bad rep around here, but I think that's probably because many of us don't like serrations. Really, for the low price you can get an LMF for, it is one heckuva tough knife and you can do a lot of things with it. Because I don't really care what happens to it, I absolutely abuse it and it's kinda' fun to see how much it can take!
