Favorite Knife Brand?

Folders- Hinderer XM-18
Fixed blades- Busse, Spartan and hopefully hinderer soon
Utility SAKs and Multis- victorinox and leatherman
Hawks and Axes- RMJ and Gransfors Bruks

Folders - Spyderco, Emerson, Strider
Fixed - Becker, Mora, Buck
Multitools - Leatherman
Traditionals - Case, Victorinox

Spyderco. I haven't had one yet I didn't like. I can't say that for many of the other makers (BM, SOG, Kershaw, CRKT, etc). I have no experience with CRK or the more expensive brands, I'm too cheap to spend that kind of $ on a blade. A $45 Spyderco Delica 4 FFG from the forums here work just fine for me.

Fixed = Esee ,Mora Folders = Spyderco,Benchmade, Multitools= Leatherman, Victorinox. Enjoying the wet bank holiday weekend over and in . Faron.

KAI / ZT, followed by Benchmade, then Spyderco. Opinel has grown on me just for the classic and cheap ($) appeal they have.

Spyderco, for me. Practically all of their models are perfect for EDC.
Mora and Becker - for fixeds. Good working knives.

I have many brands, but a Spydie Stretch seems to follow me out the door most days. Great steel (ZDP-189), slim carry, fast one-hand deployment, and replaceable if I ever lost it (heaven forbid!).

I have more SanRenMu than any other brand and rate them highly, never had a bad one. However my favourite knife is the Enlan EL-01, any of them but particularly the wood scaled EL-01D.

Without a doubt Spyderco for folders.

Falkniven for fixed blades.

Spyderco all the way! Scalpel sharp out the box and great fit and finish.

Benchmade and Esee make up the majority of my collection. The BM 940 is probably my favorite folder and the Esee Izula 2 is by far my favorite knife over all.

It is tough to pick a favorite, but I guess it would be Spyderco. I have more of their blades than anyone else's in my collection, but I think it just sort of happened that way. I love the sprint runs that they do, and I think they offer a good all-around variety of products which are generally reasonably priced. There are several great brands that I have yet to try, though.

Modern folder--Emerson
Traditional--Great Eastern Cutlery
Fixed--Busse

After trying many, many types of knives/ companies, these are the ones I've come to enjoy and rely on most. There are plenty other great ones out there, these just happen to be my favorite.

If you had asked me six months ago you would have got a different answer , but now and for the foreseeable future .

:thumbup::thumbup::thumbup: Spyderco :thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:

BENCHMADE!!

All spydercos look the same, feel the same, and are ugly as sin!! But just my opinion.. and who knows, it might change in 5 years!!

For folders, I would have to say CASE because of the variety and workmanship. For fixed blade it would have to be BOKER's ARGENTINA line because of quality and price. Having said that, my EDC for 12 years has been a BOKER COPPERLINER.
