Favorite Knife?

I was just reading through the forums and I know a lot of you own 50+ knives and love them all.
What I was wondering is...
Do you have a favorite? A favorite one knife that no matter what knives you have or get this one just is the favorite.
And I don't mean that "Whenever I get a new knife that's my favorite for a while."
I mean do you have one knife that you just love above all of the others?

If so, what is it? And pics are a plus.

My favorite, of all of my knives is my Large Sebenza 21. I've gotten several since I got it and I love them as well, and my second favorite has been changed up a few times. And I had several knives and a favorite before I got the Sebenza and a favorite, the Sebenza changed that. Even though I have about 5 favorites, this is the TOP favorite and no knife has beaten it for that place.

The knife is just so perfect, smooth, beautiful, and simple. I love everything about it and just love it more as time goes on.

Anyways, pics.

The Techno in the last three pics is currently second favorite. =]

Mine is this custom made by Bill Acker. Nothing that I own compares to it and I see no need to own 50+ knives.]

^^ I don't own 50+ knives either.
My number is 15 and 2 are coming for Christmas.
So 17.

And I have a knife my brothers friend gave me(a cheap skull lock back) and I keep it because I love that kid like another little brother and he thought of me and gave me it. So I have it in there as well, so this would make 18.

I am generally not a big fan of straight knives, but that is one beautiful knife. I can see why it is your favorite. MMMM... I may have to change my way of thinking! :bull_head:

It may be a bit premature since I've only had it a few months, but my small insingo has to be my favorite. I havent even thought about buying a different folder since.

^^^ What's your favorite Omar?

I don't have a picture of it, and you will probably laugh, but my favorite is an EDC that I got from my father-in-law when he passed on. He was a true Scotsman, and always bought the cheapest thing he thought he could get away with. It is a small Buck 112 look-alike from China. It has a stainless steel blade that I have sharpened to push cut newsprint cross wise, and is light weight. I can hardly tell it is in my pocket. Only use it for opening letters, packages, etc. I guess it has more sentimental value than anything. I have about 8 other more expensive and better knives, that I use when I need something a little more robust.

Mark - I don't think it's premature at all, Sebenza's are a great knife, and mine is my favorite.
You'll really know it's your favorite after a lot of use and when you just feel the love for it deepen over time. I certainly love my Sebenza more and more as time goes on.
And you'll realize it even more when no matter what knife you get, it's still your favorite and still is the king of your pocket. =]

Omar - I think that's a great favorite to have. No it may not be the most expensive or best knife in the world but it means something to you and that's what matters. It's the best to you, and that's what makes it special. =]
If we get to sentimental value of knives.. nothing in this world will replace the knives my mom has gotten me, because that just means something to me. =]

I have been carrying this one for years, I'm guessing about 10 or more years...

I replaced it with this one...

I just got this little fella, and I really, really like it. It bit me just a little today, but that happens I guess...

How to pick a single favorite out of so many?

This was my grandfather's:

And I kinda have a thing for original USA-made Old Timers.

This is my favorite purchase of this week so far, and I haven't even received it yet:

I don't even think I have that many. My favorite is the Izula 2 with the scales off. It's the only blade that I really have no use for that I've held on to. In fact I own 2 of them.

That reminds me I need to snap some pics of it.

Rather dull photo but this gentleman's folder by Brian Tighe is my favorite and most carried:

Very nice knives everyone.
I love that Tighe.
And that CQC-10 is gorgeous!
The 056X is a great knife as well.

Has to be my Mcusta basic with Cocobolo handle. It is the most beautifull and sharpest knife I own. In fact I just gave it a slight strop and turned it even sharper, it is so sharp it commands respect. Still it is quite gentlemanly.

I like the Sebenza but I use my Izula and Swampwarden daily. Because the sebbie cost so much, I feel bad using it. It would really suck if a burgler chose my house and stole it and I never even got to enjoy it.
