Lets hear it...I keep switching mine..I was a hardcore 510 devotee for a while had a few #1's but now I find myself gravitating towards the clipper...I know it only has a itty bitty tang.. But I've battoned it with no ill effects, and the handle is super comfy...I'll be shopping around looking for a slightly more sturdy one.. What's your fav??

I like the 2000 I wish it came in carbon steel though.. Also It look like it's got a bit of a weird grind on it..how is it sharpening it?

I love my 711 and I don't want to miss the rubber coating on the handle, so no 510 for me.

whats the Mora with the olive green hard plastic handle, and olive green plastic sheath with camo print on the front? the steel is "stainless"

John,
You sharpen it like any scandi..it is a great knife for the outdoors. I was very interested in the grind until I bought one.. it just gives you a mean slicer tip. Great knife.

It's the Clipper for me. Super comfortable handle. I don't baton with it though.

bushman I think that is called a SWAK (swedish army knife) I'll be honest what I don't like about the 510 is cosmetic..I don't like the mirror polished carbon steel...the clipper and I have some memories now as it's the one I filleted my finger with...

Why the 510? I'm just a little ignorant, but I do see it's a carbon steel blade...

ROCK6

Good steel (like most of the carbon ones), longer/stronger tang than others, better handle contours (  ), good balance, and the red is easy to see against the greens and browns of the woods.

thanks for the info, my local surplus store i live in had a crate of them on display. 16 bucks Cdn. I'mnot really a plastic handled fan, but hey it cuts, its light (good for my minimalist carry days) and well, less than a case of beer, so ic an buy lots and give em away as presents.

Hi,

I like the S-1. I use it often around the house. It will become my small game knife this fall.
