Favorite Mora

Those X-ray pics make me feel better about my 511 choice.

My Clipper tang sux tho'..........

I like the 511 and keep one in my E&E and as a neck knife.

But the handle isn't all that comfortable compared to the 711 or even the 911/Triflex.

breaking? not worried.

blade flexing and not being sturdy? worried.

blades should not WIGGLE or MAKE NOISE

that right there, is an issue

your mora's blade is wiggling and making noise - i think that's more of a handle to blade fitment issue rather than a full length tang vs. not issue, no? besides, what the hell are you messing with moras anyway? you've got enough beckers to last a lifetime! use 'em or send 'em to me :D

I just got my first Mora. It is a Mora Force, I got it off the exchange here on BF. It cost me $20, and it was worth every penny IMO. Now I have a BK-9, BK-7, BK-2, BK-13 and a Mora Force. (Not counting some Leatherman, Cold steel, and Kershaw knives) Next on my list is a Mora Triflex and a BK-14. =]

My personal favorites are the #106 and #2.

I also want a BK14. It would work well with my Triflex or 711. Thinking like the Mora knives the BK14 is a good value.

i like the 2-for-1 TSG Swedish mil-surplus Mora (carbon steel); i drilled a hole and applied a vinegar/margarita stain; those Moras are *sharp*!

I have the 860 clipper the SS version and I love it. It is my general use camping knife.
