Favorite Movie Knife

Why, this one, of course:

nice

belt loaded with butcher knives, with a knowledge of killing animals. awesomeness that could have been expanded on, but the movie was already longer than than execs would have liked.

Not knives but I like the Katana and Washiski combos from the Last Samarui.

Zcout you are correct there is a Busse in that CSI episode. There was a thread about it a least a year and a half ago but I have no idea if that thread is available in the archives (or how to find it for that matter).

About 15 years ago there was a movie called "The Edge" that featured a 3 or 4" lockback by Brian Lyttle. that knife was used for every imaginable task. So great to see Hollywood get it right. (I personally hate lockbacks in general.) I just think this movie is the best use of a knife on film. The knife is a character on its own and is important to the story in so many ways.

I think my favorite movie knife will be from a movie being made this coming summer. . . . I've got a good feeling about this one!!!

hopefully this time it's in a good guys hands. Last time... lets just say that csi episode kinda played up on a lot of "bad guy" stereotypes and didn't really help the hard use knife aficionado's image. I feel a little hypocritical saying that since I tend to dislike it when people try to push their agenda's into artwork (in all forms)... but still. people who are into knives are rarely portrayed as good people.

Gotta be "The Expendables." Have you seen the cast list for that thing? Surely one of them has to employ a gigantic knife at some point.

Hmmm can't wait to see Busse on the screen.

Now as long as my favorite knife in the movies so far its got to be this one

in the movie Commando it looks like the governor of California uses it to kill Ron Jeremy.

and I'm not sure what this knife is, but it was in a Russian movie.

I was the vfx supervisor for a sci-fi flick shot here in Oz called Soulkeeper. The producer ran away with all the $$ and it was never released. Bummer!

But there were some serious blades in it. Like this example of a great little edc...

Man you guys in the Down Under Play with some Big Blades. Maybe thats where the term go Big or go Home came from! :D

I loved the Custom one Pierce Brosnan carried in Matador. Really good movie also.

Less Leonardo and more Daniel Day-Lewis would have put that movie over the top. The opening fight scene was brutal!!
