Favorite overbuilt folder?

Small Case Peanut with thrust forward end Bolster plus also the Orange one as I got it for UT Knife = HUGE & way overbuilt.!*

At the moment it is a ZT 0561, but I want to try a Strider and a even more a Direware. Since I got that ZT I have become a huge fan overbuilt knives. They ride fairly well in my pocket and I like the size too.
 
Robertson (Calavera Cutlery) El Patron in 3v.
Nice, thick Ti that doesn't weigh you down combined with a stout, convex blade of 3v steel.
It cuts like no other knife in its class.
 
I am very happy with my tsf beast .
Thick but still good edc size .
Ive wondered what the extrema ratio overbuilt is like ?
With that screw in lock pin ? Should be pretty sturdy ?

My Ontario Hossum I is one of my favourite beastly folders; I added more tension to the ti lock bar by heating and bending it a bit - it's got much better lock-up now... I was fearful before of guillotining my fingers off as it was too easy to unlock... :eek:

I like to think of all my folders as heavy duty folder's, but the top three would have to be my LionSteel SR-1, Benchmade Adamas, and my ZT0600. The LionSteel, with the monolithic titanium frame, is as solid as any knife I've ever had. The Adamas is also built solid with .080" thick liners, overlaid with thick G-10 scales. And the 0600 is, well, the 0600!
 
I like the 0300......I have really beat the one I have for several years now without failure.

You know something? I got to thinking about this and realized that the SR-1, and the ZT0600 are not actually overbuilt, they are just heavy, well built, folders. The Adamas is an overbuilt folder when compared to the rest of the BM lineup, and when compared to some of the others mentioned here. At least this is how I think.:)
 
Everyone has their Grail/Dream knife
For me it is a Direware. I honestly
think that I can be pretty happy with
just a hand full of knives.
The Para2 EDC duty
A Small Sabenza Light edc duty
The Kershaw Thermite For work
And the Direware For adventures

The two "overbuilt" folders that I carry are my Grayman "Dua" and my Alan Davis custom. Here's the Alan Davis frame lock:
