Favorite overbuilt folder?

I have quite a few of the standard-bearers and have been pondering TSF Beast, Direware Hyper-90, Demko AD-10 and Medford Praetorian Ti.

I'm on the list for the TSF Beast both with TSF and BHQ. Just the right size to legally carry in L.A. plus great specs and word of mouth reputation. Will probably go with M390.

The only one on the list I'm unsure of is the Praetorian.

R. Flherty model 1 .200 thick A2

SnG, because it is relatively lightweight and overbuilt.
There are plenty of 6oz+, overbuilt folders, but I will not be carrying them.

Cutting something the other day with my BM Torrent I watched the blade flex and although it was fine it made me think of this post and a bigger knife.
I checked out the ZT 0300 0350 0200 and I really like them with the 350 priced and sized just right, I also totally love the Ontario HD knife series but damn are they big!
Sypderco Lionspy was pretty nice as was the Tuff but not feeling love for them.

I will keep looking.
Those in the Toronto area please let me know of any shops that stock some better knives besides S&R.

Ive got big hands (sausage fingers) and big beefy knives just seem to fit better. Ergonomics only go so far! That being said I love my ZT 301 and SC Tuff they feel just right, and the ZT561 is up there too. Those I own... But I'd love to get my paws on many in this great thread. Tuff Tanic, Praetorian, SMF, Dalibor's (which I saw my first in this thread), Satu... The stuff dreams are made of for me anyway.

just got a ZT301 it's great and is as overbuilt as my adamas. the only thing that makes the adamas stronger is the D2 blade and 800 pound tested lock and they stopped at 800 because the blade broke not the lock

After watching Ankerson's videos over and over I had to do it. Best knife I've ever handled/owned

Congrats on your Demko AD-10. What blade steel did you go with or is it the standard CPM-154?

One of three on my list: Direware Hyper-90, Demko AD-10, TSF BEAST.

TSF is coming in next week. Need to contact Demko Knives again.
