Favorite small BRKT?

That little thing looks really cool, but you'll have to make sure to keep it well-oiled. A 52100 blade will rust if you look at it sideways.

I need to pick up some more Bark Rivers. I only have 2 so far, (a Blackstorm and a Bravo 2), but I've been blown away by the quality on both of them. Bark River makes great knives. I need a little one, too.

Heres a pic of mine, I traded it off some time ago, but its a really awesome knife.

You where right Jake.

E.L.K. (Essential Little Knife), an unusual Barkie, 440C, Hollow Ground with a Convex Edge.

A great edge slicer with a fine point for detail work.

Not many where made but I think Derrick has a few left.

Thanks Mike  That is an unusual Barkie; I didn't see any on KSF but I'll email Derrick to check. Is BRKT going to do another PSK run anytime soon?

I'm thinking it'll come down to one of the following: Little Creek, Bumble Bee, PSK, or Pro Scalpel II. Thanks for help so far guys  Waveman, would you happen to have pics of your Bravo-1 next to your PSK?

I know that if you spend $500 on one order on knivesshipfree, that Derrick will give you an E.L.K. for FREE!!!

That's how I got mine.:)

Great little knife. I got mine in Blaze Orange.

I bet that orange is sweet!!!!

ELK, awesome.... Id like another one. Lemme know what you find out bro. Might be a good one to pair with the BRKT machete.

There is a new run of PSK’s coming up soon.

There has been a slight design change, a single finger groove has been added, this will give it added retention in its Kydex sheath and make it a bit safer and easier to index in hand.

The original was designed as a PSK back-up blade, but has become so popular as a user that I think the changes are good.

Also check out the new Bumble Bee Knife, this is a thin bladed little bugger that looks like the perfect complement any thick bladed field knife.

Thanks for the info Varg Lobos, and will do Jake.

Big Mike, thanks once again  I will keep an eye out for the PSK. I think it's coming down to it or the Bumble Bee for the smaller size and thinner blade; I'd probably be happy with either thin blade paired with the thick Bravo-1. I need to meet up with Mtnfolk Mike to handle some of his small Barkies.

I almost hate to mention it as I don’t know if there are any available.

I have been carrying a 2008 Custom Pro Drop Point as a companion to my Hudson Bay Camp Knife or my KSF Custom Bowie (all in matching IPE handles) for the past few months and have come to love that little blade.

Aaarrrrrrrrrrgggggggggg, I've been struggling to resist that one, since I'm so happy with the Little Creek and your post isn't helping :grumpy:

I have a full sized TUSK with a kydex sheath and really love the blade shape, it's just too big for in pocket office carry.

I have that knife in my stable now. Bought it from a fellow bladeforums.com member.

Man, you should not have let this ELK go! I'll not make that mistake! It is a badazz little knife!:D

I always say if you listen closely, you can hear it rust!

A Bark River Escort arrived in the mail today. It's going back as a return first thing Monday morning.

I don't like a handle so short I can't get four finger around. If I had been able to hold the Escort before I ordered.....well I never would have bought. For my needs, I'd rather carry a full size fixed blade, and a pocket folder as a "small knife". I think my mileage varies. ;)

The Tusk and Mike's custom Pro Drop Point look good as well.

Yeah Gramps, I usually have a delica or some other small folder on me  Just want to pick up a small BRKT sometime since I've been carrying my Izula around; I think I've started to prefer carrying a small fixed as opposed to a folder. Thanks for your info on the Escort.

Looks like it might come down to the PSK or Little Creek because I don't want to have to worry about the Bumble Bee rusting if I look at it wrong. The micro-TUSK is looking good too though...
