favorite small spyderco

I don't do small...
My smallest is the SaltI.
Unless I'm swimming, my favorite "small" Spydie is the SageI.
Bradley Air was great in the pocket, though.

Ladybug countycomm orange H1, and Ladybug ZDP-189 FFG. I pretty much always have one of those ladybugs with me.

I own a Techno and Dragonfly G10 too, but do not consider the Techno small (it's like 1/2" thick!), am not a huge fan of the swedge on the D'fly, and get just as much cutting edge with the ladybug.

For bigger tasks/camping I'll go with a convex ground fixed blade, and maybe a Para 2.

Just got my Techno back from warranty. Forgot how awesome it was to have a beefy LBK in my pocket. Before, I had my MeerKat which, don't get me wrong, is an awesome knife in it's own, but the Techno is just on a different level.

I also liked my Jester, although that is unfortunately, is in for warranty as well, although for an entirely different reason than the Techno was. That used to be part of my EDC but luckily, I had a backup keychain knife in the ZDP Ladybug which has taken place of the Jester extremely well, and may force me to retire my Jester once I get it back.

Kopa. I carry Cocobolo flavor for several years.

Well Brother I do agree with you that the KOPA is a great design for a small Spyderco folder>> and I wouldn't vote against it. A very good friend of mine has EDCed a black KOPA since 2005 when I got it for him. So I like it for various reasons.

Albeit my very favorite small Spyderco is either the Micarta C-39 Dyad Junior or the Dodo..

I can't for the life of me understand why the Dyad Junior didn't become a flagship model. To me it's the perfect gentleman's knife. But Spyderco is truly the king of small blades that are "USABLE" and not novelties.

Dragonfly's, I've got 3 of them. 2 FRN handle and the regular dragonfly with G-10 scales. The one with ZDP-189 is my favorite.

I agree that Spyderco is the king of the small blade. I've got a ton of 'Little big Knives'. Dragonflys, Ladybugs, Manbug, Jester, Grasshopper, Spin, Cricket, Cat, Chicago, Squeak, Urban, Techno, Leafstorm. They are all special in their own ways, but I DO have 2 favorite designs in the 'Little big Knife' range. These are the G-10 Polywog, and the Kiwi. Not the current Kiwi 3, but the older lockback Kiwi. Both knives, like most small Spyderco knives have good ergos (The Leafstorm being an exception. Don't care for it's ergos at all), but these 2 little designs really speak to me. The Polywog just makes me smile every time I carry it, it's so different. And the older model Kiwi lockbacks are just about the perfect 'Gentleman's' knife. They came in a variety of inlay materials, and even came with a nice suede slip cover.

Dragonfly and Manbug, both in ZDP-189 and the G-10/VG 10 varieties. I also love my Techno. I have a Ladybug in ZDP-189 stashed in a small survival tin as well.
