Favorite Tactical Folder

...

Anyone own or have experience with the KErshaw Tanto Groove? As a Kershaw it'll be good I expect and it's the most tactical Kershaw I seen so far.

...:)

I've got a Tanto Groove...pretty impressive...a hefty blade that stays thick closer to the reverse-tanto point than many but narrows quite nicely...no SpeedSafe (manual opening via the flipper and a little wrist action), dark, sharp hollow-grind with the strange grooves that give it its name, smooth/fast opening, with a solid frame lock. Reversible clip for tip-up or tip-down carry.

A great R.J. Martin design...makes me hungry for it's ultimate ancestor, the Havoc...

Oooh bless you my good man, your link was the start of something new in me :)

I gotta put in for the Endura 4, fully serrated, in ZDP-189.
(The VG-10 version's good too.)

I'm not saying it's "the best"...because I'm not sure I know what that means.
But IMO it's a great tactical folder.

It's strong and well made.
It's got a slim profile and it's relatively light. So it's with me.
It's ridiculously sharp, especially the ZDP version.
3-3/4 inch blade is a good size.
Spydie Hole EZ open, either hand.
Nice grippy handle scales.
Great lock.
Legal carry (where I live).

I could say the Chinook 3, or many of the others mentioned here, wow what a list -
but the E4's in my pocket right now.
