Fear the Walking DEad? *possible spoilers* read at own risk

It seems as if the old Hispanic man is the only one with any sense. And the teenagers mom is starting to see the light. The show is getting better, it's cool to see the start of the whole crisis since TWD skipped right to society being completely deteriorated.

Amazing how shocked and unprepared for trouble the people are; after all, haven't they ever seen riots and such in L.A.???

People are prepared...I am, and every shop owner like the Barber has a "little something" behind the counter

I thought the characters were OK, but the Dad was doing really good until he told his son and wife "You know how I feel about guns"...they ran over a guy (twice) and he came back to life. Plus after seeing all the stuff the night before, including killing their neighbor "Pete" how could he not want a gun?

Also his neighbor Patrick...he drove a car all the way from Salt lake City and he didn't know what was going on with his wife? He must have seen a couple of walkers along the way, plus with destruction in LA and the military in his neighborhood, he just seemed a little slow...

The Dads first family seems OK though

The Mom knows what to do and that will be the last time she doesn't do it. I can't wait to see what convinces her...and when do we see the daughters "sick" boyfriend again

I enjoyed the show last night much more than the second, the blond mom seems like she's getting her mindset better for the apocalypse. The kids except for the drug addict are either going to have to pick up things quickly or they are dead. The barber is cool I hope he stays in the show, the dad with his i don't like guns bit is an idiot and either he changes fast or is food. Lots more interesting things happened so hopefully it will continue to move along a bit more quickly now.

I did like the barbers line "the gun doesn't care how you feel about it"

They did say they were from El Salvidor so they had already been through stuff as bad as this.

I did like that the Mom told the Ex-wife "don't let that happen to me" when referring to her neighbor Susan

They need to add a hard ass gun loving, blade wielding, lady swooning character quick --- otherwise I'll be making a cameo

It will be interesting to see how the government and army will handle this..... We know how it all turns out though....

I'll tell you this ....I would not be sitting around, playing monopoly, after I've seen a neighbour get attacked.

^--- Exactly!! Wife and I were "Really? Monopoly?!!!??!"

Lots of denial going on there. Even after what they saw on their way back to the current wife's house with the scene at the hospital.
I'll tell you one thing, my dog ain't getting killed by a walker!

Will be interesting to see what happens in the "Safe" area...

What he said! I'm tired of anti-gun libtard idiots in TV programs - AND in real life as well!!!! "Dad" better change his attitude real quick or he's gonna become Zombie bait! Actually, that's what SHOULD happen to him, but it won't. :D

I wonder who is going to be the leader of the group. At the start of the show it seemed like it was going to be the Dad, but it's starting to look like blond mom is going to start calling the shots. Either way, I would of been long gone by now.

I vote that they put the Barber in charge.

Garth

He will put himself in charge...the others will follow

I also liked when the dad was taking out the garbage and he sees his neighbor is doing the same they just kind of looked at each other and knew what had happened...and who the heck is gonna pick up the garbage anyways?!!!

There is always the LA River, right? Either that or the walkers might decide to eat it, if it's low in carbs and adheres to the old Paleo Diet.

And I got a good laugh out of Travis (the dad) coming out as "anti-gun" too... really a bad attitude to have as the zombie apocalypse breaks out. The Barber knows what's up... once the military starts marking houses with "X"'s you know it's all gone to hell.

I also chuckled when they showed the freeways all jammed up with traffic... that's every night here :D

I am not sure if I will continue to be watching this series. I like to be at the edge of my seat and not sitting there rolling my eyes over the characters actions. :)
I have been playing Dying Light pretty constantly, that is all the zombie action I need to hold me off until TWD comes back.

my thoughts exactly - but who knows with those anti gun types? maybe not even the zombie apocolypse would cure their ignorance :D
