Feb 28 Hike on Batona trail in Batsto, NJ

It was a very nice day for a hike. We did 8 miles round trip up to a fire tower from the Corranza (sp?) memorial. It's amazing how inconsiderate some people are... Trash all over the place from people throwing crap off the fire tower - computer monitors, etc.

I've got some pics, but I'm having issues with my wireless connection right now and the pics are on my laptop. I'm on the phone with Dell right now because I can't figure it out.

I'll post pics when I'm up and running again.
 
Yeah the fire tower was pretty much trashed, but there is road access to it, so you get every slob with a bag of trash able to drive up there.

The rest of the hike was pretty clean, other than the accaisional beer can/bottle as you approach road crossings, I don't think I saw any trash.

Weather was nice.
