Feedback on K&R knives? aka krknives.com

And Alien, Everyone else is still waiting for their pre orders also. Spyderco has been slow to deliver.
 
My name is Dave......i live in Edmonton......I bought a syderco Mili and sharpener from K&R Knives in January.......he has pushed me off on 20 emails......Delaying me.....finnally I asked for my money back a month ago and he gives me an answer of its gone to our processing department......well i havent seen no money...... Well Kevin........FUCK YOU......I WANT MY MONEY BACK!!!! His phone number is 903-746-1737 it is a phone number in Longview Texas......i know some guys up that way.....his address is 3190 Cerliano Dr, Longview, TX 75605. This guy is a scam artist........my friend Angelo bought at the same time as me...he ripped him off too......enjoy my $200 you piece of shit......YOU CAN RUN....BUT YOU CANT FUCKIN HIDE!!!!! I WANT MY MONEY BACK ASAP!!!
 
I phoned him today, and he said he would call me back in 15 minutes........well KEVIN........15minutes was up an hour ago......im gonna go on every blade site/manufacture site and smear your name as mud until i get my MONEY BACK!!!
 
As i stated before our system was down. If you check your email you will see that your items have been shipped. and I don't appreciate your posts and language. very mature post.
 
I can understand "SuperDaves" frustration. Unfortunatly for him, if he paid with paypal, it's too late to dispute the charges.

You can add me to the list of those who have been scammed by Kevin... ...same story as most you guys: He charged me up front for a preorder, promised to refund, quit answering emails, and refused to respond to a paypal dispute. Fortunatly paypal came through on my claim and I got my money back.

I have had very good luck with internet purchases, ebay, etc. I guess I was too trusting but I googled krknives.com and really didn't find anything negative so I ordered from them. I will be more cautious in the future.

If you are thinking about ordering from this guy (and you'd be crazy to after reading this thread) then be aware that he is not a stocking dealer and that he will charge you immediately. The lack of anyone coming forward in this thread and saying that they actually ordered and received a knife from Kevin is rather telling.

Have you called the local authorities in Texas?? I couldn't hurt and might help to let them know what's going on. Do you still have all your emails and invoices etc.?

Maybe a visit from a Longview Police Detective asking about Fraud, Theft by Deception, etc. would get Kevin's attention.
 
To Dave and anyone else who is reading this. When our system crashed it made it almost impossible to give refunds to track orders or see which had been shipped! we are slowly getting the data back which we lost! and after further review the system was wrong about shipping to a few customers! we have contacted dave and angelo about refunds and as far as mr ElConquistador we were not ignoring your request and you have been refunded
 
I was told by Krknives that they would have these militaries in by August 17th. It's now August 29th and I don't have my Military that I paid for in April. I feel like Krknives owes me and the rest of the folks who paid ahead of time an explanation...
 
The explanation is . Spyderco has not delivered them yet. I have sent emails to everyone who has pre ordered them. If you did not get the last 2 emails you need to check your spam folder.
I can not deliver what Spyderco is not making fast enough. After I receive the Military's I will no longer pre order anything From Spyderco. They take to long and it's not worth the headaches and the damage it has already done to my business! "This Thread"!!
 
some constructive feedback......to krknives......and feel free to blow me off......maybe mark per item what you stock vs. what you don't on your site Sir...until the business grows and you can stock more, or at least mention in your terms your setup so people don't think they are going to get a knife when it's being held up by the manufacturer and the drop ship routine that happens. i can't stand not knowing if something is in stock or not, and when i see almost a complete catalog of every maker of knives.....bunch of listings on a site without notice of what is in stock and what the lead time is for anything that isn't...i move along to another site. i can't imagine i am in the minority on this? no need to reinvent the wheel....copy your successful competitors. the ones people rave about do exactly this. this lack of communication from what the site shows, vs, how things really go, and your intially snappy attitude in this thread....is hurting your business more so, than some rightfully angry customers, in this thread.

you have a nice site, but being more upfront and straight shooting in a business that caters to nit picking, but extremely loyal types, myself including, can't hurt you. what do i know though.....
 
I bought a blue ffg delica last year from K&R and had no problems. I received the knife within 5 days of ordering and it was packaged well, for me it was a positive experience, but it wasn't a pre-order item. I hope everything turns out well for you guys.
 
Again Alien . I have not received any email from you. I sent an email out last week explaining that Spyderco has said they will have the knives by sometime in October.. Again I can not deliver what Spyderco Does not ship. This is not my fault and I'm not trying to take any ones money!! As soon as i receive the knives they will ship. there are hundreds of other people like the one above me who have received their knives with no problem. but it was not a pre order item that spyderco is taking their sweet time to make.
 
Why was KRKnives1 banned?
It seems that I am having the exact same problem with K&R Knives at present!
Paid thru PayPal, two months later still no knife! Just "put offs" ---oh it's arriving next week, repeatedly
Frustration!
Annoyed that I didn't check this forum out before I paid my money
