Fehrman Knives - First Strike vs. Final Judgment

I wonder if you are seeing some older versions? To be honest, I always thought our Kydex sheaths were pretty decent but earlier this year we switched to a heavier kydex that is now .090" thick. That combined with a generous amount of rivets makes for a pretty solid sheath.

If you are unhappy with your sheath, send it back to me and I will send you a new one ASAP.

Respectfully,
Eric Fehrman

Now that's customer service! Thanks for the offer - I'll contact you about it.

Mine is definitely thinner than 0.09", maybe half that or just over. I like the sound of the new one. The design is great for strapping onto (or in my case, into) something.

Thanks,
Rick.

I have an old numbered Hood ( with removable scales for ballbearings or storage) that I got from the Doctor and had a custom leather sheath made up in Huntsville Ontario. It's long and light with a pot notch. Black coated CPM 3V
Absolutely superb knife.
On a completely different scale, the ThruHiker is a great, tough little necker that is a convenient as a knife can be.
I'd love to try a Final or Extreme Judgement.

No, just the opposite. I don't know what would cause you to be sickened... I don't know why you feel compelled to bring this up either. Don't like it, then move along.

I have several Fehrman's, and they are fantastic knives.

My feeling's exactly, Sodak!

Eric Fehrman is a well-spoken gentleman of sterling character and a man of strong Christian faith......

Another maker (which Fehrman's are frequently compared to), seems to take pride in frequently announcing his alchoholic behavior and thinks it's cool or funny.....:thumbdn:

Pretty easy decision for me regarding who I would prefer to deal with! ;)

I like the look of some of their designs, but: This may be of no relevance to you whatsoever. It may make them more attractive to you. The below turned me off quicker than finding half a dog turd in a pork pie. I'm not going to say anything else about it because some people may bruise easily. All I know is that I'd feel sickened if I discovered that after I made a purchase. Others may feel similarly, I dunno -

Probably would push me over to buy a knife from them. Its nice to see some one not embarrassed by their faith. If he carries his integrity of faith into his work (which it sounds like) then it settles the sale for me. To many have died for our freedom of speech to have it yelled down at us by political correctness. freedom of speech goes both ways, not just to the liberals. And yes as Jew, I understand that it also allows others to say negative things about me.

I remember watching a documentary about Japanese sword making, probably about a year ago. It was brought out during the documentary how that the religion of the sword makers played a huge role in the quality of the blades. The mix of the swordmakers faith with their work is a life and death matter to them. It arguably has been a major contributor in the great reputation of these swords.
For similar reasons, I can't fault a man like Eric Fehrman if his faith improves the quality of his product and the customer service of his business. Eric has a reputation of good personal integrity and character, which are traits that are not easy to gain. I would have no reservations buying one of his products.
Also, my hat is off to him for how he professionally handled these postings.

I own 2FJs, a FS, PM, actually, I own ALL of Fehrman's knives - if I had seen this page, I might not have any of them! There really is nothing more unappealing than god being sold as a bundled package... the Final Judgement namesake makes a little more sense now, but please, how's about a little separation between knife and religion?!? Last thing i need is god in my knife when im liberating zombies of their limbs...:p

That having been said, I do own all of Eric's fine blades for a reason... they're amazing! Fantastic quality and impeccable craftsmanship; some of the most precise tolerances I've seen from a custom maker. Every thing eric produces is of the EXACT same high caliber quality/craftsmanship. Makes a Buses look sloppy any day!

I strongly support Fehrman knives nonetheless!!!
