Fenix LD10 Pass Around

Hey Tony - I got it in the mail today. Very well packaged and thanks for the extras :)

I'll post up a review soon once I'm able to use it a bit. The size is looking AWESOME, though.

I'm ready to ship this thing out but the address I have is coming up as an invalid address on USPS.com when I attempt to print the label.

Laserboy - shoot me an email at chargernet @ verizon.net

We could always meet up too, I'm not sure how close you are to DE.

Just got the light and first impressions are very positive. I need to find my camera so I can get some photos. Thanks!

Oh, and what's with the mini-spy capsules?

lazerboy2000,

I tossed those in the package after trying the light just as a little bonus for the next person in line. It turns out tonym had plenty so he left them and so has everybody since. If you could use them, you are welcome to them. Sorry to have confused things.

Here is the order of the pass around. I will ship to the first person on monday. I will PM or email you just the person you need to ship to next. Please email or PM if you do not have it by monday. Below is a list of rules for a pass around. Please ship with deliver confirmation and insurance for $50. I would appreciate it if you could post here what you think of this light combo after you use it (I love it) . If/when you use the light diffuser tip, can you not use it in turbo mode (I'm not sure, but that might get the LED too hot). I only use the diffuser in the lowest 2 settings and have had plenty of light to read by or camp chores. I'm looking forward to doing more pass arounds in the future as I find cool gear.

Thanks,
BushcraftBrainTrust

I want to let you know I just bought an LD20 because of this. I loved the LD10 but this one has another battery and some more lumens and battery life.

I have the dorky but very workable headband for it. I plan on doing a review soon. Thanks for this passaround - it REALLY helped me make a quality decision. Thanks BBB.

Anyone interested in a passaround of any of their other lights? I have their complete line in stock and would be happy to start one or two going around if enough people want them.

I'd jump on a TK40 passaround!

I've been carrying a Fenix LOD on my keychain for a year and a half, love that light!
Want to replace my MiniMag with a Fenix,I'm torn between buying the LD10 and LD20.
Any real advantages to going with the 2 battery LD20?

The LD20 is brighter and has a longer battery life (2 vs 1 AA). The LD20 is about the size of a mini Maglite and the LD10 is around the size of a roll of quarters. The big issue is weight and how you want to carry. If lightweight and easy pocket carry are important, LD10. If you want run time, brighter sheathed light, LD20.

What BushcraftBrainTrust has posted is spot on. The LD10 and LD20 use the same head. 1AA and 2AA bodies are available to buy sperately. If you get a LD10, you can always purchase the 2AA body later, and just swap the head over.

I got this shipped out this morning to eagle runner. Sorry for taking so long.
