Fewer Web Specials @ Buck

It's funny, I looked at the new web specials and there were some great prices. I came back a little later and the prices had changed. Most I looked at went up, one down. I'll wait and see what it looks like tomorrow.
 
I ordered a 55 and a 110.

I was logged in under my BCCI acct and tried ordering a couple more coffee mugs, but the order wouldn't go through. I've already used up my two yearly knife purchases and the coffee mugs are listed under "Cutlery" and are counted as knife purchases.

I'm only saying this as a heads up to other BCCI members so you don't use up your yearly knife purchases on a couple coffee mugs. :eek:
 
Yes, Geddinight.......I'm pretty sure I paid $44 for the bone-handled 55 and now it says $64.

I hope they bill me correctly.

I don't see either one of those prices....I paid $60.00 a little while ago. I just looked again and it still says $60.00.
 
I see that the Bucklite II is also listed under "New Products" at the same $15 price as it is on the web specials page. You can't use the 40% discount on web specials offerings, but I wonder what would happen if you ordered from the new products page and put in the discount code?
 
Just checked my credit card and they billed me $70 for the bone 55 and a hooded sweatshirt.

That's $28 and $42 so I actually paid $42 for the bone 55.

Don't know what's going on there, but I'll take it.

Maybe they reconsidered that very LOW price?

I ordered mine about the time I first posted (post #9) at 1033 this a.m.

Two hours later Geddenight posted that the prices had changed.

I thought I bought the 55 for $44......then the price went to $64......then to $60.

But I actually got it for $42.

I wouldn't have paid $60 and I don't think they'll sell fast at that price, but maybe they only have a few so they jacked the price up.

Whatever. I'm happy. Never bought a 55 before, but I thought the nickel and bone might be nice.

Also used up my last club knife purchase for the year with a desert sand G10 handled Vantage Force Pro. I don't especially like these, but after all the complaining I've heard about them I had to find out for myself just how the quality is.

After I saw this thread I went on to check out the 55's and I like the looks of them but dont like the $60 price tag for one!
 
Those bone 55's are left overs from a Bass Pro Shop special order. Those were in the store right after the bone 119s, 110s, ect. I bought one at BP and paid about $70 for it. This is the first time I have ever seen another one....if they were still in the $40 range I'd buy another one or two!

I had seen the 55 listed as 42. The 110 was 31 and the folding fillet knife was 19. I am glad you got your 55 at the lower price. Like I said, I think I'll wait. I don't have a 40% email, I'm waiting to establish my email with Buck as a BCCI member. I'm hoping that won't be much longer, app sent last week.

I don't think that the e-mail that was sent out today has anything to do with a BCCI membership. It's not the same as the ones sent out with the special lists that are available only to club members.

I believe that all you have to do to get them is to sign up with Buck on their website. There's a place near the bottom of the home page to enter your e-mail address to get newsletters and if I remember right, that's how I started getting the discount e-mails, not by becoming a BCCI member. It may also be that once you place an order with them, you automaticly get the e-mail offers like todays.

Here's all you need to get the 40% off right now:

Maybe somebody who checks every day can tell us if yesterday was the first day or if it's been on for a few days?

I hadn't checked for a long time and just saw it yesterday at 10:30 a.m.
 
The 4th was the first day for the white bone 55 BG.

I got to it late in the day, put it into my basket, figured that the price was wrong & would be corrected the next day, the next day it was gone.

The 55 is so very very tiny. I hope you post a pic or two to pique my regret for not going thru with the purchase at first blush. It would look nice in the case along side the white bone 110.
