Yeah, my envy runs DEEP. These collections and sub-collections are simply amazing. Bravo gentlemen, all of you.

Bud, I gotta ask: do your kids have dibs on different Runts? Or do you hide them all for yourself? ;)

lol .. I only have one, and she's recently stated she'd like 'a Runt' or Hiking Buddy next. Of course, her eyes light up the most when she gets to hold a Camp Knife or Machete. The whole 'power of steel' comes alive with a two handed grip. lmao.

Here are some quick cell phone pics of my small collection . . . I have a Bushfinger, Esquire, and Machete that someday will migrate south and join these 5!

Really like the patina on that Runt! Was it forced, and if so do you mind sharing how it was done?

Thanks Tod! There will be some refining whenever I make it back to the US, but all in all I'm pleased. My bro actually sent me a knife that he thought was the Bushfinger back a couple months ago. I was so excited when I got the box, I opened it and my countenance fell! Supposedly he is going to send me it soon. I really look forward to getting my Esquire and Machete too.

I didn't force the patina. I decided to put the knife to the test and see if I was in a pinch how it would handle as the only knife in my kitchen. After 3 days of exclusive use, that is the look I ended up with. I would say most of it came from cutting onions and tomatoes. I left it laying in tomato goo and chopped onions for a while after.

That is a beautiful knife Phillip! I really like the more distinct Fiddletexturing that has been coming out of the Forge on the CPM 154 knives lately. It gives a nice visual contrast to the smooth handle scales. You can't beat the Bushcrafter for a comfortable handle. Very nice burl too.

I posted awhile I wanted to trade my Bushfinger for a bushcrafter and had no takers on the exchange. Duder was nice enough to take it off my hands. Once I saw this one come through the pipeline I knew I had to have it.
I just realized once my esquire gets heat treated....Allen

Not to wander too far off topic but I'm curious of the history on the miniature damascus anvil. I've got a few little tiny anvils and a small Fiddlleback collection I could round up...

I'm still miffed you beat me to that BC. that one was a friggin STEAL!!!! Ricky Henderson got jealous!
