I have a Sony Alpha series mirror-less digital. I like it because the technology allows the camera to be smaller than a standard DSLR, yet it still uses interchangeable lenses. So, it's great for hiking, activities, etc.

Awesome! That is a great shot for comparing, and I found myself checking out the different heights of the grinds more than I normally would. Do you have a favorite for grind height?

I've actually let many go that weren't quite comfortable for me. There are several configs out there I'm still looking for that I haven't been able to shark yet. They seem to be few and far between. However, if anyone has one they are willing part with, here's the short list I'm willing to pay handsomely for (always have to throw out the sharking plea..
):
BC, Buckeye Burl, TT lime over black
BC, Black bolster with oreo shadetree
BC or BC Sr. - Evergreen shadetree, preferably TT with lime or yellow over black
BC, Emerald or Oreo shadetree with black pins
Scandi BC - any config but there's a blue G10 floating around that would be a grail
Hasco's glow-in-the dark emerald BC.
I have few that I use way more then the others. Oddly enough, the first one I bought is still my favorite - the 5/32 TT slate G10 3rd from the right. That's probably my favorite Fiddleback and the cause of all this. The OD blueback micarta is a 1/8 full height grind and is the lightest of the bunch. Freakishly light. It probably gets carried the most and is always in my truck and/or backpack. When I take a Sr. it's always the desert ironwood - the SFT tang balances the length nicely and it has some heft for heavier chores. I baby the curly koa one and haven't had the two bolstered ones long enough to use them much. Other favorites that feel the best are the bocote and the sapphire - both 5/32 TT. I also really like the buckeye burl and orange, it's 3/16 with a TT. Interesting contrast, because of the forward balance. I like the 3/4 to full grinds better. But they are all have special attributes and are keepers.
I'd love to get several examples of the BC Jr., but the first one up on FF was the only handle config I've seen so far that I really wanted and I wasn't fast enough. I can wait to try one of those in 1/8 and synthetic.
