Fiddleback Collections

Fantastic collection Simon! I really dig that 3/32 Bocote Recluse, the cpm Huntsman, the Bushcrafter in Bocote with OD bolster, the Hunter... there are too many great knives to name.:eek:

Thanks Gus...appreciate it. Gotta show us all you got in stock. Guess you could open a dealership yourself :D

I'm still lovin that plain ole natural Recluse Guhul. And that banana nut bread is cool too.

If I ever sell it I PM you first... i promise... might take a while though...

Hi All,
Granted there was a lurking/studying period before my first Fiddleback purchase but I didn't realize how fast things have progressed until taking some time for review today.

My favorite: The one on the far right
Goes everywhere: The one on the far left

Sweet collection. It definitely happens fast.

Nice line in short time

There is the magic ladyfinger...cursed and delivered on Friday the 13th...at least it made it straight to your door and not to Australia first ....

Thanks! Actually it was 8 weeks & 2 days since my first FF arrived, the Green Curly Handyman .. but who's counting. Should also be a wrapped Surls Shortmuk on the way next week.

Absolutely stunning collection Jerry!! The BO Ladyfinger & Surls patch stand out for me.

Thanks Abe! Your slightly crazy BO Huntsman sale kicked off the BO Patch sale from TripleT for me too.

Yep! I'm not sure anyone would give this one up, not even Australia ;-) Its really really sweet. You gotta get you a Bushfinger too!

Sweet collection! I think it's cool to see style preferences in these pictures. Yours are all black or neutral colored and all of a very similar blade profile.

NICE collection, especially for 8 weeks!

This is such a cool thread, and an oldie! I love going back through it and seeing all the old production Fiddlebacks and where we all were in our collections 2-3 years ago. Makes me smile! :)

nice collection Warrior108

I really like the KEB's

Thanks! That Ironwood KEB is really nice and had me planning an Ironwood theme but things went in a different direction, at least for now.

Thanks to Andy and the whole crew for all the hard work and making these beauties in the first place. Awesome knives and a super Community that has been pulled together!

Ugh, Jerry. You're killin' me with the sexy lady.

Nice collection!!

There's still a sweet sexy dreamsicle in CPM 154 sitting out there from yesterday. Do it! :-)
Thanks

Thanks Gus. Definitely a lot of key attributes in this one. Love the guardless version and the slightly taller blade.

Thanks Orian. Maybe a little OCD coming through? :-) The only problem is Andy showcased Nessies 2 weeks ago, got me to look at those and now a Shortmuk is going to "muk" up my blade style pattern next week. I could think of worse problems.

Helluva group in 8 weeks, Warrior! Nice!

Thanks. Still catching my breath .. so is the bank account.

Thanks. I haven't been around long enough where I can say the same but its been a great reference thread for a short-timer. Definitely one to revisit.

Here is my meager, but growing collection.

And for those of you that prefer them arranged the other way.

Hey Nathan,
Nice collection! Your group is almost opposite of mine and there are only 2 in common; Runt and Bushfinger. They're all models I considered but wasn't sure about sizes. These pictures provide a great comparison. I think I can pick out most of those models but to be honest, I'd be guessing and uncertain. Would you mind listing the models in their order (either picture)?

My 5yr old daughter is a big knife fan we reviewed your collection on my phone. Her favorite is the Stubbymuk? with blue and brown handle (6th from the left in the top picture). After saying how pretty the handle was, she described it as the one with its head chopped off. :-)

When I showed her the bog oak Ladyfinger on Friday, I let her hold it and her immediate feedback was "Cool. Its not even heavy though. Can I see you cut a piece of paper with it?"

Thanks,
Jerry

Jerry, that's awesome, I love it that she likes knives! The one with the "head chopped off" is a WA Surls Lil Ness. Funny thing is my mother- in- law said pretty much the same thing when she saw that knife.

I would encourage you to have a look through this thread as well.
