So I have a question guys or more of want your opinion. Recently I traded my benchmade 940-1 to guy guy on the exchange for a lonestar and I told him I would TRY to ship it Thursday (last Thursday) but probably be Friday he was ok with that he ship his end on Thursday. Here is were it started I went to the post office on my lunch only time I have due to the fact I work the same hours and days as the post offices around here. As luck would have it there Internet and phone lines were out of service due to some major malfunction with the service company down there. So I could not use my card to pay for shipping and I had no cash. I proved to the guy with a picture of the sign on the post office counter stating this. So I told him I would have to ship it out Monday because the post offices are closed on the weekends and proved this too him with screen shots of Google hours and days(oh and there was only on post office any where in this town. I apologized to him multiple times. I got it sent out Monday like I said I would priority 2 day mail insured and all. He received the benchmade on Wednesday. (Oh left this out I told him previously before trade that it was a user and had been sharpened and wasn't perfect and told him the things about it I noticed that and even sent him pretty good close up pictures of every angle) he then proceed to tell me the item was not as described he stated the item had been taken to a bench grinder (I would never do that to a 260 knife). I told him that isn't true at all, but if he was unsatisfied I would simply trade him back but he refused too because he thinks I will rip him off or something close to that. I believe i did the right thing and really tried to make it a smooth nice trade but like everyone knows shipping doesnt all ways work out perfect. And I even offered to trade back but he refused. His choice. Do you guys think I deserve a bad Itrade review because of this? And if not is there anything I can do to get it removed. Or should I just move on with my life . I feel bad about the shipping thing and lost sleep over all this too. I have all emails and everything to back this up also. I would like some advise or feed back for some nice nutral fellow like you selves

Here are the picture I sent hm taken the day he requested them don't think it was taken to a bench grinder the top of the reverse Tonto is were it was supposedly bench grinder.... I'd say not it may not be a custom perfect finish like one on Andy but it's a benchmade production knife the only do so much

I think you should move on with your life. You'll never win a fight on the internet -- Neither party does. I'd suggest just moving on and if it becomes an issue later in life, then put together a concise, unemotional email that you can cut and paste that describes the issues. Reasonable people will see it as it is while unreasonable folks will not and you probably don't want to be dealing with them. Trades are always hard in my opinion as someone always feels like they got shorted and more often than not it's both parties.

Edit: I need some serious punctuation help on that drivel above, but if you read it slowly, maybe it will make sense.

Try appealing to the moderator of the forum under which the trade was made. Maybe they can help.
