Fiddleback Forge Kephart - Ruby Red Burlap from Shadetree over black g10 with a white pinstripe - SFT Convex 5/32” 01 Steel - $300

Please

Nice snag Bear......that beauty should serve you well !

I am completely stoked that the BC and Kephart were two knives at the top of the "Want List" for Sam and Julian... Thats why the Flea Market rocks! Thanks all... off to the post office!

Well...I have thought about this since yesterday afternoon, when I made a quick decision and snagged the Kepart in the Friday thread. As much as I love the Asp as an all arounder for myself personally, the more I look at it, the more I fear it would be perceived as being a bit more tactical looking than I want for the project I am working on. The project is more youth oriented, and I fear this knife may be a bit too distracting for this one. I actually entered the thread looking for a Hiking Buddy, and almost gave up when I saw they were gone. Then couldn't believe my luck in snagging the tapered Kephart which is just gorgeous, and should be disarming enough, while still giving me the point I need. Long story short, having to do the 2.5K mile road trip to cover the Blade Show was an expense I was not at all prepared for, as I am still recovering from this past winter, after the expenses of the move and the investment in a new life. On top of that I have been offered an opportunity to do more work of a different sort, which requires more investment, so I had to make a choice. I am not in a position yet financially where I can keep things just because I want them...everything has to work for something for me right now. So, my loss is someone else's gain and I am putting the Asp up for sale to cover the cost of the Kephart I actually need. The knife has been slightly used, and does have a bit of a patina, as I did start the project with this knife, I just grew a little concerned about the overtly tactical lines for this particular application during the photo editing process.

The knife originally sold for $340 in this thread

I am asking SOLD which would lower the price enough to cover shipping for a spa treatment if you like. Must be 18 to buy, all laws concerning this type knife in your area are your responsibily, and the price includes paypal fees, and insured USPS priority shipping in the continental US.

You can see the amount of patina better in some of these photos in this thread here.

Let's drop this again to $300 $275 for the Fiddleback Flea Market faithful.

For sale here and on the exchange with more pics:

Hi! I am looking for a smaller blade for the finer carving and other various tasks. It is to be a smaller friend to my Lacewood Bushcrafter. So a knife in Lacewood would be nice :) Maybe a Runt?! Or what else? Anyone?

The Shank that Baron has for $235 would make a great little blade. It would make a good food prep, carving, sheeple friendly, all around good little stabber.
