Hi! I am looking for a smaller blade for the finer carving and other various tasks. It is to be a smaller friend to my Lacewood Bushcrafter. So a knife in Lacewood would be nice :) Maybe a Runt?! Or what else? Anyone?

Hiking Buddy all the way

I love a Hiking Buddy as a companion blade, but if you want 'small' then the Bushcraft Karda or ED Karda are very useful little knives (don't see them come up too often in lacewood though).

Received my Bushcrafter today and man it was well worth the wait. It literally took 5 seconds of holding this knife to instantly become my favorite model. Thanks for the opportunity and fantastic service Jon!

Sam- Glad it got to you so quick and you like it! The very reason why this flea market is awesome...

I've got two lil' guys to sell.

First up is my F2. This was the first one that was made from a hiking buddy and led to the others. It has a pretty good blood patina going from cleaning ducks with it. Sadly, that hunting trip was the only time I've ever used it. I'm asking $OLD.

Older photo from that trip when I had a real camera.

Newer terrible phone photos.

Next up is a classic Hiking Buddy. I would definitely consider this one a big paw type handle. I don't know the exact thickness as I couldn't find the original sale post and don't have calipers. It's a thick one though. It's Mesquite with the black liners and bolsters the way Andy used to do them. It is a well loved and taken care of knife. It has a couple of scratches on the blade that I tried to capture in the photos. They are very light and could easily be polished out. It comes with a J. Oeser sheath. I'm asking $OLD for this one. I would also be open to a trade for a thinner, non-burl convex Hiking Buddy. Thanks!
