good catch, i was thinking something was off...in a good way. I actually like the way it transitions like that, has a more of a streamlined look to it. great score whoever bought it

Man, that is a beautiful knife. There's something about the blade profile or the where the handle moves into the ricasso that is intriguing me! On every Bushfinger I've owned or seen the ricasso/guard area extends down from the corner of the scale a little further about 1/8", this almost seems that the bottom of the blade comes straight out from the bottom of the scale. maybe it's my eyes! Wish i had the cash to see it in person.

Thanks Dave! I've really been wanting a Recluse and this one has several very attractive features for me.

I have large hands and I am a fan of old school handles. I will probably regret not grabbing that one. :D I look forward to your sheath/combo for this. Pics please!

kirkwood, also do you have any more spec details. I have yet to snag my first fiddleback and am wondering if this is it?

2014 0808 16 – Sneaky Pete with Evergreen burlap over natural with orange pinstripes, SFT Tang, Trinity pinout, convex on 1/8” 01 steel - 290"

Appears to be Fiddletextured O1

Its a sweet knife -- my very first fiddleback was a sneaky pete; great profile.

I have the sister to your Bushcrafter, but mine is SFT with orange. I LOVE it! Grippy wood that is mesmerizing! I love a knife with wood native to my area of the country!

Being from Texas, I'd probably buy one in Osage orange for that reason. That's why I picked up my first ironwood when I moved to AZ.

kirkwood, does the Sneaky still include the sheath with the price drop to $250?

Sure, I'll throw in the KSF sheath. Additional specs are about 8.5" OAL with 4" blade. I can take more measurements when I get to the office tomorrow if wanted.
