Thanks for the offer guys. My mind is sticking to the Nessie since these are such expensive knives I'm going to try the one I want most first.

These are the nessies you speak of, I would jump on the bocote if I were you. Fiddleback's nessmuks were redesigned a couple years ago. Maybe that's the confusion?

Are you looking for a Nessmuk or a Camp Nessie? Those are two different models.
 
The ones listed above are the standard nessmuk. There are four nessmuk style knives in the current lineup. From top to bottom: camp nessmuk, nessmik, minimuk, stubbymuk.

Those are some sweet knives. If I could get one now it would be the same exact handle like those in the picture.
 
2015 0227 04 – Esquire w/ Curly Oak over natural w/ white, SFT Tang, Scandi grind w/ Penetrator Tip on 3/32 spalted 01 steel...Asking $265 (picked it up the 2/27/15 FBF). The picture doesn't do it justice, just wanted something a little larger.

I'm looking to purchase or trade for Fiddlebacks with orange pinstripes and wood scales. I prefer natural hardwoods, especially blackwood, ironwood, rosewood, and cocobolo, rather than burls or stabilized wood. I'm most interested in a Bushfinger and Hunter, but I may consider a few other models as well, like a Hiking Buddy or Patch Knife.

A beautiful blade that has seen very little use, have only owned it for a few weeks. Perfect condition. Asking $SPF which includes shipping and paypal fees. Will accept postal money orders if that's more your style.
