Hey guys, new to the fiddleback party, actually new to knives in general. Do a lot of outdoor hiking, camping and floating up here in Montana. Looking for a great bushcraft knife and came upon the fiddleback forge bushcrafter. Would love to purchase one. If anyone has one, new or used please let me know. I have seen a green handled one with orange liners that really caught my eye. Can we order from a knife direct from Mr. Roy? I have contacted a few of the dealers without a response, bummer. sabbs1, sorry for the cut and paste, but here's some info that might be helpful:

Since Fiddleback doesn't do custom orders, (they're a handmade knife shop, not a custom shop) you'll be looking for one that matches your desires. There's such a wide variety of models and configurations that most people find what they're looking for.

There are 3 main ways of buying a Fiddleback.

1. Fiddleback Friday

Every Friday a batch of 20+ knives is posted to the Fiddleback forum. This is an exciting, and some times frustrating, way of getting a Fiddleback. It's suggested to look at old posts to see how the process works (Look for "Fiddleback Friday" threads) and maybe just watch a few of them before jumping in the shark infested waters.

Be sure and read the sticky on how Fiddleback Friday works and how to shark a knife. Law of the Sharks, Rules, Tips, and Tricks

2. Dealers

If you're not able to shark a knife on Fiddleback Friday, there are several dealers that also get batches of knives. Keep an eye on the below sites and look for posts in the Fiddleback forum for when they get batches in.

Go to the last few pages and see what knives are currently up for sale or trade.
