I have taken new pics of this Arete to better show the beauty of the Maple burl- it's hard to capture w/ my limited ability...
Still for sale: Arete in Maple burl over black w/ white pinstripe, 5/32" O1 SFT tang. Purchased here, I am at least the third owner. The knife is mint, but must go to make room in the rotation for my new bolstered Arete. Price includes PP fees & priority shipping/conus. Thanks! $260 Sold "I'll take it" here gets it! It's made out of 1/8th thick O1 steel, has stabilized Buckeye burl scales, natural micarta liners and pins and a blue pinstripe.

The knife has been used and I've sharpened it lightly once, most machine-marks are still left on the bevel. Unfortunately there are also some dye stains left from a improperly finished sheath on the scales on left side of the knife as you can see in the second photo.

These are a bit over-exposed, but here are some pics that were taken this week to show it's current condition:

Decided I only have room for one Nessmuk in my collection so I'm putting this one up for sale. The Nessie is in new/unused condition.
