Why don't you get her a Fiddleback of her own?? The ultimate accessory, especially with a Bonafide sheath.....

You might be seeing some of mine in here soon. The wife walked in the office this morning and looked at the shelf where I store them at, looked at me, and said "So, I've been looking at the paypal account..."

Whoops. LOL ;)

Maybe dinner and some Tiffany's or something might distract her.

knives listed on exchange -- more will also be going up shortly

Hello Wjt1981. Can I have the #1 Bushfinger please.
Welcome -- looks like you just joined today. Nice first post. I'll send you a visitor message with payment instructions (ie. my paypal address). I assume your are CONUS, as I do not currently ship OCONUS unless I know the buyer or the buyer is established. With that being said welcome aboard and message forthcoming.

Thanks. I've been using bladeforums as a reference for a couple years now and everyone seems great. And when I saw this thread I HAD to join.

Hi
Id be interested in the orange/cf bushfinger as well if the deal in some miraculous way falls trough and you are willing to ship to Norway
Thanks
Knut

Thanks for the interest everyone; OP updated to reflect what's left!

Knute-- you are #3 on the list for that knife but if anything changes I'll let you know!

+1. Good advice.

Thanks MWC and Duder. I think she'd rather have some bling than a Fiddleback. She'd see through it as an attempt at buying her a present that was really for myself :)

She uses mine all the time in the kitchen, but wouldn't understand having her own. She tried to take my Runt for a while, but it wore off. She does have a cute little SAK classic with flower scales that she keeps in her purse, but that's as far as it's going to go I'm afraid.

Well this could end well for me! I might owe your wife a "thank you" Thurin, depending on which fiddlebacks you decide to release back into the wild.

I thought my wife would think the same about me buying a gift for her that was really for me. Until her friends and family came over and I witnessed my wife showing off her fiddleback to all of them ( more than once). To my surprise she's actually proud of it. It doesn't get much use, but it's all hers. I also never grab and carry her blade for the day. Her blade, is her blade, it's a hands off kinda deal.

I'll bet you a million dollars she (my wife) would have rather had a new Coach purse though. But hey, she got a knife she can always use and pass down to my daughter.

Maybe I'll have to give it a shot. If it's obviously a "girlie" (sorry) knife, then she won't think it's a gift for her that's really for me. Thanks all.

Will, Looking at that cork... that Las Rocas Garnacha is pretty fun wine! Had a bottle last week! :)
