Andy’s note - I love making knives for you all. Thanks to everyone for supporting Fiddleback Forge. It’s an amazing feeling to do this for a living. Fiddleback Forge depends on y’all, and we hope you love the tool you buy from us.
Bluebacks continue to evolve and intrigue us. We’re now calling the steel Homogeneous Damascus. Unlike regular Damascus steels where you never quite now what material you are working with at the cutting edge, with Fiddleback Homogeneous Damascus you can be sure that your cutting edge is 100% 01 steel (because it is, after all, just blued 01 steel).
Synthetic handles are sand blasted, Wood handles hand sanded as usual.
Blade Show is fast approaching and we feel that we’re in good shape. Keep us in your thoughts on Memorial Day, we’ll be here in the shop, but not too late fingers crossed.

Payments & Shipping
Payment may be made to Paypal (fiddlebackpayments(at)att.net), or by personal check or MO. We hold all personal checks until they have cleared. This usually doesn’t cause a delay because they usually clear before shipping day.
Domestic US shipping is included in the price of the knife.
International shipping is $40 Flat Rate, even with multiple knives.
Tuesday is Shipping Day.

Because of their size and fragibility we have to charge an extra $5 for shipping – so $15 total or 2 for $25. We know that fragibility isn’t an actual word.
