Thank you Bill! If we hadn't had two wood handled versions your original post would have been sufficient. I appreciate you coming forward, sets a good standard. While I'd love to see you get the knife, to be fair we'll go by the first complete post which was Tha Baron's. Thanks again.
You're next in line Baron so she's all yours. Thank you!
Any chance you could share the specs on the Gauchos? Overall length and blade length? Thanks Ken!
Did someone take the green hearing one bushrapter? If not I'll take it
I'll take the Hunter. Can't believe that one is still here. Sweet. 2014 1212 24 – Hunter with Black & Tan double bolsters, Tapered Tang, convex on 3/16” spalted 01 steel - $400
I will take a 12'" machete but if they are all gone I will take a 16". Please let me know thanks
Sure thing - they have 4" blades and 4.5" handles. And a nice, tapering handle design that feels real easy in the hand.
No apologies Shank! You must be absolved! Go give Michael two Hail Mary's and me all your Fiddlebacks.
2014 1212 17 Gaucho with Black Burgundy burlap over black with white pinstripes, SFT Tang, convex on 5/32 CPM 154 stainless steel - $350
They are made of a proprietary mashup of 5160, 1075, and 1095 and will run you about half the cost of a smaller piece from the forge.
Can anyone give me a quick summary of handles between a 3 finger Karda (In this thread) and an ED Karda? I just sold my "old" style 3 finger Karda because the handle was a bit too curved for my hand. My hand was cramped with it. This is a different handle shape entirely.
