Fiddleback Friday 12/12/14

Mist and Duder you're killing me! I'm in the market for an EDC but the Asps are seducing me.
 
Get the oak asp... If it doesn't make you happy, Andy will honor the warranty and it will find a new owner.

YES! Would love to see it next to that Gp100 in your avatar.

I never knew oak had such wild patterning. It's like watching a flowing river, classic and sturdy, timeless.

Lost in all of this is Kirkwood. Thanks my friend for the info! I'm sorry but I was coerced by these enabling 3.

I also wanted to live a fuller, richer, more informed and rewarding life full of Style, manners, money, culture, and cuisine... But ... It's back to Walmart now. Sigh ...

Sorry Dave, but the Asp is one of those magical cross-over blades that is just really sweet all around in my opinion. When I sold mine last winter, what I really wanted to do was make a road trip south to use it on my former business partner ;) But if I had had the money for fuel to do that, I could have just bought the price gouged propane rather than sell my knife lol

No. It is sexy as hell!! I need an EDC after selling my early version of a Karda but I have been swooning over the Oak Asp since the start of Fiddleback Friday. Then you people come along and force me to buy it. I still need a small EDC! :D

I felt for you last year brother. It was really cool having you in Michigan but darn you picked a bad year! Propane was ridiculous.

You chose well my friend. The Asp makes for a nice EDC. I carried mine the whole time I was on vacation in Pismo. It's a nice, slim and fast blade. You almost forget that it's on your hip.

Look at the bright side, at least you don't have to explain to your wife why you need a 12" machete. I'm gonna have to think of a clever way to explain to her that she really needs it, not just me.

After that, my guess is you'll never hear about the Fiddleback machete again. And like that....poof... they'll be gone.
