Fiddleback on Tap Saturdays

I've been waiting 3 years for this to be available in Northern VA.

(Throwin in some slip joint love as well).

That configuration should be called aqua-fresh! Nice blade Kirkwood!

Sweetwater's IPA was my gateway into craft beer. I still miss the stuff, even though I'm not as into IPA's these days.

Edited to add: Nice Radio Jack, by the way. I have one of the chestnut bone models and live it.

Trying out another local Belgian Ale: Upslope from Boulder.

Paired with a knife I haven't shown much lately, but it's on my hip a lot in EDC rotation: EDKarda in African Blackwood over Natural with White Pinstripe.

Not to bad a brew, but nothing really stands out about it either. Brewery dude was hawking it at the Total Beverage so I thought I'd give it a shot. I also picked up a Stout from them, we'll see if that's more distinctive.

Thanks Michael.

I had not even heard of Sweetwater until we spent a week in Folly Beach / Charleston a few years back. Alas I think nostalgia of the great vacation might have put it on a pedestal in my mind. Still a good beer. Maybe I just need to get to a warm beach location to get the full effect. :D

Love the Radio Jacks. I double dipped on the last CC SFOs and got one of each in a Ebony and BRJB. My most used.

I need to find a new brew to try tonight!

I'll need to try some of those.

Trying out the Upslope Stout tonight. They need some help on the naming. "Foreign Style Stout"???

With the Big Paw Bushcrafter.

Put this knife through the paces this last week. Love it. Comfortable. Great job workin' the wood. Good Looking. What more can you ask of a knife? So it gets to celebrate:

Well fellas......not Saturday, but a beautiful Sunday afternoon down here in Mississippi. Over the weekend, I finally got my hands on a few bottles of the limited edition run of the Grateful Dead inspired ale from Dogfish Head called "American Beauty". It's a granola imperial pale ale. Anyway, a number of my favorites are coming together in this photo below. Fiddlebacks, the Grateful Dead, beer, and sunshiny days. Hopefully all is well in ya'lls world too. Cheers!

Well, its not Saturday yet, but its been a loooooong week. Time to decompress with some of Virginia's finest.
