Fiddleback on Tap Saturdays

Man, I am so glad you guys are keeping this one going! Lol, lately I'm too broke to afford a decent beer so I am living vicariously through you :)

Damn the FB pint glasses are sweet!

Anyone ever had dragons milk??

I have not tried it. Good stuff?

Good stuff. Not as good as Left Hand, but a good brew for sure.

Michael

I'm assuming you're talking about this Michael?

Been relatively alcohol free for several months, but had a long week, so decided to relax with one of my favs, and a sneaky to keep me company as my gf won't touch this stuff (more for me! :D )

Haha for sure, I also drink a bit of Islay whisky, which has a signature character from the peat, one of which can be described as medicinal or iodiney....she won't even get near me when I'm drinking that stuff which on occasions I may have used to my advantage :p

I think we've all been there Josh :)

Putting a cap on the weekend, working out the gear for the coming outing.

Sometimes having the blues is not such a bad thing...especially if it is the Sapphire Blues to go with an IPA.

This is going to sound like a strange question......the glass table top that you like to use for many of your photos......is it on a piece of Winston patio furniture by chance ? The unfiltered color of the IPA makes those Shadetree handles look sic......very nice !

I don't think that is a strange question Peter. I don't know the manufacturer of the patio table. It is a cheap set that I bought at Sears almost 20 years ago. It is really weathered and falling apart now. The reason that I like to use it for photos is obviously because of the glass. I like the way it picks up and reflects the light. I also like that it provides an unfocused background that makes the knives stand out in sharp focus by comparison. My photography skills are very limited, so I'll use any trick that I can find to make up for my lack of skills.

I think we need thurin or mistwalker or Vance to start a photography tutorial thread to help us all.

Phil:

Whatever the brand the light effect & unfocused background works well to bring out the color. That's a great idea about a photography thread. Ken also mentioned that he was going to attend a seminar at Blade on photographing knives so we should have some great content experts to share their tips.

Got my sheath setup for the Hunter worked out over a Coors Light by piecing together a couple of Heber sheaths. Took the dangler off the Bushfinger and added it to the Hunter.
