Fiddleback on Tap Saturdays

What is this knife? I like the blade shape. Post 396

That is a Bushcrafter Jr. with Shadetree "Sapphire" burlap. The blade is about 3-1/2' long versus 4" on the standard Bushcrafter and 5" on the Bushcrafter Sr. The handles on these models are some of the most comfortable ones in the Fiddleback line-up.

That would be a Bushcrafter Jr. 1/8" SFT in Shadetree Sapphire burlap. I'll try and take some more pics maybe next to my Bushcrafter so you can see the difference.

As Comprehensivist said, they are by far the most comfortable models that come out of the Forge. I also prefer the fatter blade shape as opposed to the pointier models (Bushfinger or Kephart).

I think it suits me better. Do you try pocket carry or still too large for that? I really want to switch to fixed blade daily user. I want it sheathed with a clip that attaches to my pocket, so I think a 7 inch knife can be done this way. The runt is not for me...

Check out the Esquire and the minimuk. I like the Esquire size. I'd also like it a little smaller and with more of a wharncliffe blade. I tried the Monarch, but it just seems ill-proportioned to my eye -- Could just be those longer bolsters that seem to be more in vogue these days. I'm really wanting to see VANCE's dip-can-knife.

It's name is to be determined when I actually complete one.. Which the motivation
is not coming easy after working in the heat and turning around and working on it when I
get off the fiddleback clock

Sorry for the Monday post,but.... just got it, and we'll "When IN Rome" actually this case Mexico

I haven't seen to many around on this forum is it not a very popular knife?

When it comes to the Lonestar, I think the handle ergos have turned some people off. I like the ergos. For it's intended use (every day carry) I think it's rather comfortable in hand. The heel has substance to it and feels more reliable than some of the other smaller blades. Looks cool too. Okay, now I'm gonna have to get another one.

I agree the ergo feels good in my hand, not sure if I'm a huge fan of blade style tho only had it for a day soo too soon for me to say for sure but if I don't I'm sure someone would want to tade another fiddleback for it on the flea market

So today is the day I'm legally allowed to post in this thread. I think it might be frowned upon to bring out a knife for a photo shoot at a busy bar but I'll edit this post with some shots before the weekend (no pun intended).
