Scandi Bushcraft Karda today.
I love the handle size and handle to blade ratio - up there with the HB as the perfect EDC for my uses.

This arrived last night. I was on the road and missed all the Friday fun (in particular the mad frenzy for that osage Bushboot), but was hoping all day there would be a package from Fiddleback in my mailbox. Got home after 10pm to find this waiting.
Been hoping to get one of these since Rick showed me his over a year ago. Hesitated on a beauty a few months back, only to lose it by seconds. When this popped up last week I had parked on the shoulder on I-40 to check the fotki, hit the next exit ramp, and made the dash back home. Many thanks to all those that helped me claim it!
Please forgive the bright sunlight pics, but it really brings out the stunning color of this ironwood - my very first material obsession, followed rapidly by bog oak and osage.
I need RLO to heal up quick. Finding ways to tote this around all day without a sheath is getting a bit dangerous. Now I need to kill something so I can start skinning!

ironwood is decidedly my all time favorite. The sunlight makes the KPH glow! Beauty!
