The GFCI the smoker was plugged in to reset about 6 hours in so I cut off the point and wrapped the flap for a crutch.
We got out for the first time in six months (new parents). I sliced it up this morning and heated it up for sandwiches :D

Warthog badassery. Seems to be my water knife. It's going back to Florida next month and again in August. [IMG]

This one has seen some woods time. Lives in my truck, and hits the woods on damn near every trip. I can't say how much I love this blade.

Palmettos, mostly. And I try to chop them close to the ground.
Since you’re not accustomed to having tips on your blades, you may not be aware that occasionally the tip contacts the dirt. ;)

Firsts years snow fall is on it's way, so picked these last lingering beauties from the garden and trimmed them up...

@Hurrul, by "on its way", do you mean in the next few days? The forecast for middle Georgia is calling for a high of 96 on Thursday! I remember getting snow one day in 2017; it even stayed on the ground for a couple days.

I took that photo with the knife, last night, but woke up to this - about 90 miles north of Yellowstone park in SW Montana:

    Still snowing, too.

Such a large amount of country between here and GA - I feel fortunate to live in a vast country with diverse landscapes and climates. I hope today, that neither one of us succumbs to hypothermia or heat exhaustion.

Found some chicken of the woods growing about ten feet up a dead oak. A couple zip ties, and a sapling to attach my 12" machete to, made the job quick and easy
