Yep, onions are great for a patina!

No trout yet, but when I do get to them, the F-2 will handle chips as well :)

dang mist

im going back & forth between the f2 & the kph

i love them both & the f2 looks awesome to me...but the last time i went fishing i almost died on the tallulah river...so i havent been fishing since & i have a karda that is similar size to the f2

I liked the F-2 when they first "discovered" the pattern. I thought then, wow what a way to come up with what looks to be a very nice, very functional bird and trout knife. But at the time I still wanted a convex Hiking Buddy and a Recluse. Then came an unexpected move to property with a trout stream crossing it. I got a Recluse for my hunting knife with more belly to it, and then started thinking more about the F2 again. I have always liked the Hiking Buddy handle very much, so when the chance came I snagged one. I don't think fish and fowl will be the only things the F2 will do well, I can also see it making a great little boning knife. I am going to have to play with that some.

Love the F2 Mist! If that is in maroon linen, that would be a dream Fiddleback of mine. Awesome pickup, be sure to post plenty of pics...

Got a nice doe this morning. Used my Bushfinger to skin an debone her.

Got one more tag to fill but it's gonna be cold again tomorrow!

What's that I hear? "You can't skin a deer with a scandi!"

Oh come on. It can handle it fine.

Done.
