Now that's what I'm talking about and antique canvas to boot! And yes, I keep going in this odd cycle of patina, polish, repeat every few weeks on a few of my knives, while others I let do whatever they want -- it must be my OCD!:witless:

Yep, there's just something about this Hunter that makes me keep it patina free. I love a patina on other of my knives, but this one gets polished religiously.

All better:

Looks great thurin. I love the patina myself but was curious what you use to polish. Flitz? Liquid or paste? And how often?

I use Flitz Polish in a tube. I'm a little hit and miss on the polishing. Sometimes I'll polish it up in the evening after dinner while hanging out. Other times I'll let it go a couple weeks. Before using in the kitchen it gets washed up good and before going back in the cupboard some mineral oil.

Finally got to test out the new Ember-lit Ti! Thanks again KephaC!
Sorry for the crappy cell phone pics....

Didn't you mention something about an Asp stuck in a door???? That would make a FUN picture!

Thanks! I really love it too! It just seems to "work", for lack of a better word. I couldn't find an uncomfortable hold in any position and with the tapered tang it just seems to have the perfect balance! Even in sub-freezing temps I didn't want to put it down!
Thats a pretty BF man; tapered tang, shadetree, lime green... whats not to like!!

Hunter in the mountains. Unlike Thurin's mine is going from almost patina free to more and more ;) Sorry about the cell phone pics, but the wife was hogging the camera :D

Putting a fur (fox) hood liner on my daughters ski jacket

Trying out the Ti Emberlit with the kids (marshmallows)

And a non Fiddleback on the front of my jacket while skiing (the Hunter was in my pack)

Looking like a fun time NoFair! Marshmallows are a requirement for breaking in any new camp fire technique.

I do believe I spot a PM2 there. Another nice knife.

New maroon Sneaky Pete with some Kuiu Verde camo. Love the comfort of this new one, right up there in my opinion with the Bushcrafter. If you don't have this model yet, you have got to try it out...

Nice! Mine's coming and not soon enough. I'm trying the CPM154 though.

Did you see the Tapered Maroon Scorpion @ USAMB? Not sure if you like that style, but I know you like the Maroon Micarta.

Good to see she went to a good home.

I did. Thanks for the heads up man. I'm always on the lookout for that maroon linen. The Scorpion is not really my style...
