Fiddleback User Pics

Beautiful photos Vayu. With the impending blizzard we have coming I have to say I am a bit jealous. Thanks for sharing...

Hey Vayu, that doesn't happen to be Flagler Beach/ Washington Oaks State Park? It looks all too familiar.

A belated Happy New Year to all my friends on this special forum!

After another bout of challenging weather in the Philippines - 2 Typhoons and a Tropical storm - all is good, the roof even stayed on this year!

Just a couple of pics of the newly painted homestead pre-typhoon and my trusty Woodsman helping out when we rebuilt a few fences after Typhoon Ruby.

Good to see you back around and safe and sound Bear.

Glad you finally resurfaced Jules. We were worried about you for a while. Glad to hear that you are okay. I hope 2015 is a better year for you buddy.

Take care.

Nice! Do you live nearby or just visiting?
That is my neck of the woods (uh, or beach). Lived in Flagler for 3 years, then moved just 20 minutes south about a year ago. Still head up there to visit one of our fav restaurant's. - Flagler Fish Co.
Anyway, the rock formations are very unique to that area of beach. I used to get some really cool shots there as well. Nice pics btw.
Take care, Sergio

You nailed it Kal-El. It is Washington Oaks Gardens State Park

I'm a bit to the west, but I frequent the area often with my family. Florida has some pretty stellar hiking environments. I'll have to check out the Fish Co.

Had me worried about you man, glad everything went good for y'all. When you going to be leaving? I should be back in Phils around the end of February but my fiance was saying that there is another typhoon, or maybe it just passed already not really sure.

Anyway, good to see you back around here.

Nice, I agree with you about Florida. Lots of hiking trails especially in the state parks that go unnoticed. I've lived in Florida the majority of my life and have resided all over the state. Most people associate the state as being a tropical beach environment, but inland there are so many forests. Now, it certainly doesn't compare to the hills and mountains of other states but it's still very unique.
And the Flagler Fish Co. is just walking distance from the pier on Daytona Ave. Great food, laid back atmosphere, but unfortunately, closed on Sunday's.😔 Northside Fish taco's are great there!
Forgot to mention, that hiking buddy is stellar!

Jules, it's good to hear you weathered the storms! Looking like good progress on the homestead and that Woodsman looks great getting put to use.

Osage sir. Haven't had it out of my collection box in a while. Thought I'd sharpen her and soon take her outside.
