File Guides for sale

Sorry Bruce, I wasn't clear. Not width but thickness. How thick of stock will these take? And can the pins and screws be lengthened and still maintain decent accuracy?

Thanks,

John, they should easily take a 1/2" thick blade accurately as they are. We could put longer pins and screws for additional width but there may be some deflection. The holes are drilled in the milling machine but drill bits can flex a little.

Thanks, Bruce. Yeah, I'd like pins and screws long enough to get 1" thick blades in. I'll likely use it around 1/4" most of the time, but I'd like this guide to be able to handle some rare situations as well. I guess this just means adding 1/2" to the existing length on the pins and screws.

Bruce,

I've e-mailed Krista to order one of the stainless ones in 2" opening.

Wow! My very own B.Bump (file guide). The logo's worth the price, and I can use another carbide guide as well.

I'll take a regular width SS one. I was just thinking that I need one badly, and here it is. Cool. Thanks.

Hi Bruce, Congrats to all on the wedding. Would you please put me down for two of the regular size in stainless steel. Thanks Mark

I just sent Krista an email to confirm the paypal address. I would like one of the stainless models, standard size is fine.

Very nice. I may order one from you for my buddy in Belgium and maybe one of the big ones for me.
